Nova stared at the holographic projection, his heart pounding with anticipation. The numbers didn't lie — high compatibility, negligible risk, and the adaptable trait from the Body Evolution Card had all but eliminated the usual danger. Everything was in place.
He reached out, his fingers trembling slightly — not from fear, but from the sheer weight of the moment.
He was about to rewrite his very essence.
"Proceed," he commanded, voice steady and resolute.

The Omnitrix lit up, its dial glowing with a deep, arcane violet. A pulse of energy surged out from it, scanning through the synchronized DNA files within the connected Omni-Dex.

The Omnitrix began to hum with increasing intensity as rings of runic energy formed in the air, orbiting Nova's body. Streams of light — infused with mystic energy and laced with magical resonance — surged into his chest, targeting his core.
Nova winced slightly — not from pain, but the sheer pressure of change. It wasn't just physical, it was metaphysical.

The adaptable trait gained from the Body Evolution Card kicked in, steadily regulating the flow of foreign energy and mutating DNA. Nova could feel his cells vibrating, absorbing not just information — but a new law of existence.

The Omnitrix pulsed again — this time more deeply, directly beneath his heart. A dense orb of condensed magical energy started to coalesce, anchored by genetically engineered conduit strands created in real time.
Nova's fingers clenched. Sweat rolled down his brow as he gritted his teeth through the overwhelming sensation of awakening.

Nova opened his eyes slowly — irises now faintly glowing with ethereal light.
He lifted his hand, palm facing up — and a faint trail of blueish magical energy danced across it, twisting and curling like smoke. It was raw, unstable... but undeniably magic.
He could feel the dormant energy flowing through him. The spell channels forming. The core, though synthetic, was alive and growing stronger with every breath.
A low, hungry grin spread across his face.
"Phase One… complete."

A few days latter, Nova looked at the TV displaying the news of Obidiah Stane getting arrested and his assests being frozen temporarily.
Nova picked up his Omni-Dex, and saw a few messages.
HARRY OSBORN:- Hey Nova! It seems our plan was successful. Just a few minutes ago, my secratary.. I need to get a new secratary... informed me that Pepper Potts will be arriving today for the buisness dealing. By night, we will finalise all the details and will reveal existence of our serums to public in joint conference with Stark Industries.

WANDA:- Hey Nova, the warding work is almost complete, by estimate it will finish by tommorow night.

HERMIONE:- Hey Nova, as per your curse, Toadbitch is totally ruined. She even confessed that she used blood quill on children and not only that she even confessed that she illegally gave orders for dementors kiss on Barty Crouch Junior, who was a pureblood and Harry on minister's orders. Now Fudge is all but removed from minister's position.

MAY:- Hey Nova, everything for the cafe is set. Only few decorations are left but it will be finished by tonight as Maria is helping us. Also don't you dare out your dirty gaze on her, I saw how you mentally undressed Maria and fantasized about playing with that sexy ass of hers.

After replying to everybody, Nova took a deep and took out New World Trade and Travel card.

Nova didn't think much on it and directly chose second option. He has already prepared everything for the trip–food, guns, some tech, serums, etc.
Suddenly Nova disappeared in a nine coloured portal which appeared beneth his foot.
Shaking his head after the sudden change of scenery, Nova looked around and saw that he was in a street alley.
As he came out of the alley, he looked around as was little surprised as he saw a guy with horse tail and legs walk past him. Turning in another direction, he saw a girl touch the wall and change it colour to white.
Looking around he saw many people with animal features and others with some special superpowers.
After a few hours, Nova sat in a cafe eating burger, which he bought by the converted money with help of system. He gathered basic information of this world and got to know that he is in a world of quirks and heroes, meaning he travelled to the anime world–My Hero Academia.
From the information he gathered, the time is one year before the U.A entrance exam and two months before fatefull encounter of Almight and Midoriya.
Thinking of this, he decided to cut path of Almight's successor. No.. he is going to take One-For-All for anything. He is going to make a trade with Midoriya. He is gonna steal Almight's successor.
Leaving the cafe, Nova came in an empty street and room out the wand that had better compatibility with him than other wands sent by Daphne.
This would be his first time using magic. It's because his magic was chaotic and was settling down in his body for past few days. Originally it would have taken a week for magic to settle but his body have adaptable trait which helped him.
So taking a deep breath, Nova held the wand and said," Lumos."
Nova felt an energy/magic travel through his hand to the wand. But he frowned as Wanda top didn't light up. He poured more magic and smiled as Wanda top lit up.
But suddenly the light got extinguished as he emptied his magic reserves. Shaking his head in disappointment, Nova opened his status and raised his eyebrows as he saw new format.

Nova studied the holographic status screen floating before his eyes, brows furrowed in quiet thought.
Magic: 27.
He tapped the side of the display lightly, watching the glowing number flicker but remain unchanged. That single number told him everything he needed to know — it was low. Very low. Not even on par with an average eleven-year-old magical child in the Potterverse.
And yet, he wasn't surprised. The integration had just completed a few days ago. The core had only recently seeded and was still stabilizing. The magic in his body wasn't inert, but it was fresh — like unrefined ore waiting to be tempered into steel.
His gaze moved to the Magic Index displayed below.
"Muggles range from 0 to 10. Squibs go up to 15. Kids at 11? They're already in the 30s…"
Nova crossed his arms and leaned against the alley wall, a faint trail of magic still lingering from his failed Lumos. He replayed the sensation — the way the magic surged forward, connected to the wand, sparked to life… then flickered out.
It was progress.
Even that small spark confirmed that the system was real. The core was functioning, and the wand recognized him. His magic reserves were just limited — for now.
He shifted his focus to his Combat Stats.
So he is at peak of 2nd rank hero, almost on verge of breaking to 1st rank hero.
He clenched his fist slowly, the hum of power under his skin now layered with something new — not just energy, not just mutant strength. Magic. Untapped, but present. He could feel it in the way his body reacted to the air, how his senses occasionally tingled without reason.
The grading scale made sense to him now. Each rank wasn't just a title, it was a threshold. A checkpoint for evolving power. And for every jump, the stats would reset — F to EX, then the cycle would begin again.
At A-tier physical stats, he is close to breaking into 1st Rank Hero status. But magic? He's starting from zero."
Nova exhaled through his nose, calm but not content.
"Still... I've just awakened magic. I shouldn't expect results overnight. Growth takes time — especially for something like this."
The adaptable trait from the Body Evolution Card would help. He knew that. With each spell, each use of power, his reserves would grow naturally. The simulated magical core would mature, and with it, his entire magical system would refine itself.
No shortcuts. No god-tier powerups. Just progress.
He stood straight again, glancing down at the wand in his grip. Not quite ready to be his weapon yet — but one day, it would be more than just a tool.
One day soon, he'd cast Lumos and the wand wouldn't flicker out. It would burn bright.
