Time unfreezes and everything goes back to normal. In order to hide the discrepancy I said," Me, Susan and Haley are going to go to China in order to see the Leshan Giant Buddha which is located in the Sichuan province and then return to Hong Kong before the weekend.
Rose and Jake can separately wander around Hong Kong and then join us on our trip to Sichuan or just stay here. Also, do you guys want to go?" Rose's parents were taken back by my offer and they seem conflicted on whether to go or not. Seeing their conflicted expressions Susan stepped in and said while grabbing Marilyn's hand," I know everything happened like a storm but don't worry about anything at all. Both me and Jonathan would love it if you guys join us after all you guys are family but if you guys don't want to go with us it's also fine."
Mrs. Jones was startled but she quickly replied," No, no that's not it. It's just we thought it would inconvenience you. all after all it must be hard to book plane tickets on such short notice." I couldn't hold back my laughter for a second which resulted in a muffled sound escaping from my mouth which was loud enough for everyone to hear. " Uh, we have private jets both of military and civilian models and multiple commercial airlines company under us."
Susan said in a confused voice. " Oh, right. Sorry we just forgot that you guys are trillionaires." Replied Marilyn. " Oh please, like that makes us any different from other people. We like to be normal and as a matter of fact once the unification is complete we will shut down all institutions that focus on elitism instead of knowledge and progress. So, just treat us like you would treat your normal family." Said Susan.
" In that case, we should prepare our luggage as it seems you guys have already got the itinerary planned." Replied William. I nod and leave with Susan, father in law and Fu dog. " Oh, by the way I'm leaving behind one of the Spectres for you kids to use in your dates and sightseeing." The door slammed shut.
" Um, by Spectre Mr. Long means?" Asked Rose. " A Rolls Royce Spectre, girl. You need to understand that he's the owner of Rolls Royce." Replied Trixie. Spud interjected by saying," He doesn't own Rolls Royce. He owns 85% of its shares. The remaining 15% are open to the public stock market." Rose tilted sideways and said to Jake," Why on Earth did Mr. Long buy up Rolls Royce?"
" To chokehold UK." Replied Jake. " How is that going to chokehold the UK?" Asked a confused Trixie. " The nuclear reactors of the UK's ICBM submarines are made and maintained by Rolls Royce and the automobile division was just a bonus." Replied Spud.
Jake and Rose spent the entire day touring the attractions of Hong Kong with Rose, Trixie and Spud. They took a lot of pictures and joined me with the Jones family on our China tour. We returned the day before Sunday in order to prepare for the Dragon Summit that I was hosting.
