Chapter 517 - Immune Cell Activation and the Great Dao of Reincarnation

In a corner of the Great Reincarnation Realm, Rosen concealed himself in the void, observing the universe before him. All Reincarnation Lifeforms in the entire Great Reincarnation Realm, whether naturally born or later achieved, had already become Reincarnation Electors. As for those who were unwilling, they were captured and used as experimental subjects. Under the prevailing circumstances, no one could refuse the Reincarnation Council.

Currently, all universes in the entire Great Reincarnation Realm, except for the one before them, no longer met the conditions for the birth of Reincarnation Lifeforms. Only this Reincarnation Universe contained a Primeval Lifeform with the qualification to advance to Reincarnation. Rosen transmitted an order through the destiny network, and Reincarnation Lords scattered across the Great Reincarnation Realm began to plunder cosmic vitality.

As more and more cosmic vitality was plundered, the Great Reincarnation Realm's immune system was activated once more. The more severe the illness, the greater the stimulation to the immune system. However, the entire Great Reincarnation Realm only had the universe before them with a chance to give birth to a Reincarnation Lifeform. If other universes couldn't give birth to Reincarnation Lifeforms, they wouldn't even have the qualification to obtain the Reincarnation Sovereign's authority. Rosen's actions were akin to preemptively killing the immune cells. He was very curious to see what the Great Reincarnation Realm's immune system would do in this situation. Would the illness overwhelm the immune system, causing it to collapse? Or would it exert its utmost effort to cultivate the last immune cell, granting all of the Reincarnation Sovereign's authority at the physical body level to that final immune cell, thereby cultivating a potentially existing super immune cell?

Soon, spacetime fissures appeared one after another in the void, and the seven Speakers and one hundred thousand Councillors arrived successively. Only the same Reincarnation Sovereign authority could contend with the Reincarnation Sovereign's authority. If a super immune cell truly could be born, the Primeval Lifeform in the present universe might quickly transform into a terrifying existence that could crush an Epoch Sovereign. Therefore, this time, all Reincarnation Lords were dispatched to capture the last immune cell.

Indeed, with the activation of the immune system, the Great Reincarnation Realm began to react violently. Around the Phantom Beast Universe, spacetime fissures appeared out of thin air. From these spacetime fissures flowed several types of peculiar substances, never heard of or seen before.

The first peculiar substance was like water droplets, containing terrifyingly powerful time origin and space origin. The second peculiar substance was like white dust, containing infinite vitality, which was of a higher grade than cosmic vitality. The third substance was golden flowing light, containing infinite karma, with faint, indistinct giant beasts visible within the flowing light. The fourth substance was a colorless, transparent gas, which instinctively triggered a powerful craving in the indestructible will. Finally, the fifth substance was a colorful, rhomboid crystal, containing a desire that Rosen found instinctively irresistible. This colorful rhomboid crystal was the key for an Epoch Sovereign to advance further.

Although the five substances were peculiar, their properties were not difficult to analyze. They corresponded to spacetime, vitality, karma, consciousness, and reincarnation, respectively. These were the five most fundamental forces of the Great Reincarnation Realm. These five special substances were the transcendence-level extraordinary resources that the Nightfall Sovereign and the others had sought for hundreds of Epoch Cycles and yearned for in their dreams.

At this moment, no one cared about capturing the immune cell anymore. These resources for transcending reincarnation had to be obtained no matter what; they absolutely could not be wasted on the super immune cell. Moreover, after acquiring them, perhaps the Great Reincarnation Realm's immune system would produce even more resources to cultivate the last immune cell.

Almost simultaneously, Rosen and the others, with tacit understanding, formed pairs and targeted one resource each to snatch. The Dark Sun Sovereign and the Nightfall Sovereign jointly seized the colorless, transparent gas representing memory. The Technology Sovereign and the Civilization Sovereign snatched the golden flowing light representing karma. The Fertility Sovereign and the Death Sovereign simultaneously targeted the white dust representing vitality. Finally, Rosen and the Immortal Sovereign targeted the water droplets representing spacetime origin.

The most powerful rhomboid crystal, representing reincarnation, was tacitly left untouched. This was because they all knew that the first four types could only enhance their strength, while only the rhomboid crystal held the possibility of transcending reincarnation. If all eight immediately rushed for the rhomboid crystal, the remaining four resources might be plundered by the one hundred thousand Reincarnation Lords. It was better to first divide the other four resources and then collectively snatch the rhomboid crystal.

Furthermore, their leaving the rhomboid crystal untouched had a bit of a fishing intent. The Reincarnation Will is incredibly good at hiding, but faced with special resources for transcending reincarnation, if the Reincarnation Will couldn't help but reveal itself to compete, what awaited it was the encirclement and slaughter by the eight Epoch Sovereigns.

After Rosen locked onto the spacetime water droplet, he immediately applied all his extraordinary amplifications to himself. The extraordinary amplification of the Reincarnation Lord extraordinary system could amplify all extraordinary systems and all Reincarnation Holy Arts. However, this amplification wasn't a numerical increase but an enhancement that leveraged strengths to compensate for weaknesses. Just as every tool has its purpose, by using the strengths of all Reincarnation Lords and Reincarnation Lifeforms, it formed an extraordinary amplification to remedy the Reincarnation Lords' shortcomings. Therefore, the Spacetime Reincarnation that Rosen cast, under the amplification's leveraging of strengths, approached infinite perfection.

Every Reincarnation Lifeform mastered Spacetime Reincarnation, and each Reincarnation Lifeform had different studies on their own Spacetime Reincarnation. Rosen, by gathering the strengths of everyone, achieved a flawless Spacetime Reincarnation. After compensating for all defects, it underwent a quantitative to qualitative transformation, successfully allowing him to master the spacetime power that transcended reincarnation. Thus, even the spacetime water droplet was captured by Spacetime Reincarnation.

However, he wasn't the only one with extraordinary amplification. The Immortal Sovereign, as a Reincarnation Lord, also possessed extraordinary amplification. Although the Immortal Sovereign's extraordinary amplification was quantitatively ten times weaker than his, the difference between an amplification of 99.9999% and 99%—when leveraging strengths—was infinitesimally less than one percent. Because the closer one got to perfect Spacetime Reincarnation, the harder it was to find and compensate for defects, their respective Spacetime Reincarnations could be said to be evenly matched.

With the Reincarnation Holy Arts evenly matched, the competition came down to various enhancements of the Reincarnation Holy Arts. Rosen's Reincarnation Territory was far superior to the Immortal Sovereign's in terms of strengthening spacetime power. In a competition of indestructible will, the Immortal Sovereign had no advantage either. This was because, through the source matter host of the destiny computer, Rosen could replicate the memories of other Reincarnation Lifeforms to strengthen his own indestructible memory.

Despite having an absolute advantage in both areas, Rosen quickly fell into a disadvantage in the struggle for the spacetime water droplet. This was because the Immortal Sovereign also possessed five Reincarnation Holy Artifacts specifically designed to amplify Spacetime Reincarnation. Coupled with the Immortal Sovereign's mastery of the immortal power that transcended reincarnation, he could almost limitlessly burn his origin using Immortal Reincarnation to amplify Spacetime Reincarnation. If their Spacetime Reincarnations continued to collide in this manner, Rosen would ultimately be unable to outcompete the Immortal Sovereign.

This was the price he had to pay for taking a shortcut to become an Epoch Sovereign. He couldn't exclusively enjoy the extraordinary amplification of the Reincarnation Lords; he could only share it with all Reincarnation Lords. Although he had a tenfold advantage in extraordinary amplification, this advantage was quantitative and difficult to turn qualitative. This was like the combined intelligence of one hundred thousand ordinary people, no matter how much they collaborated and researched physics to leverage each other's strengths, they still wouldn't be able to compare to an Einstein.

Of course, Reincarnation Lords weren't ordinary people, so the combined efforts of Reincarnation Lords weren't perpetually incapable of transitioning from quantitative to qualitative change. However, this required a process, and this process might be measured in units of Epoch Cycles. Therefore, the further along the Reincarnation Lord system progressed, the greater the gap would be between Rosen's extraordinary amplification and that of the Immortal Sovereign and others. Currently, in less than ten million years, the potential of the Reincarnation Lords had yet to be fully realized.

Seeing that he couldn't win the Spacetime Reincarnation struggle against the Immortal Sovereign, Rosen began to use Life-and-Death Reincarnation against the Immortal Sovereign's Immortal Reincarnation. He leveraged his more advantageous Karma Reincarnation to assist Spacetime Reincarnation, and at the same time, brought out the Miracle Star Sea, which had become a Reincarnation Holy Artifact, to offset some of the disparity in Reincarnation Holy Artifacts. Through their mutual increases and decreases, Rosen gradually clawed back some of his disadvantage, entering a stalemate with the Immortal Sovereign.

Other pairs also found themselves in a stalemate. These were old rivals who had fought for countless years, so it was impossible to determine a winner in a short time. However, a prolonged stalemate was certainly not an option, because there were still one hundred thousand Reincarnation Lords watching intently. Their not joining the fight was already a display of considerable respect. But if they couldn't produce a result, and even a small fraction of Reincarnation Lords couldn't resist joining the fray, then other Reincarnation Lords would surely follow suit, and at that point, even Epoch Sovereigns could perish in the chaotic battle.

Just as the situation threatened to spiral out of control, another identical transcending resource appeared in the void. This time, there was no need to fight for it. The Immortal Sovereign immediately gave up the struggle to capture the other spacetime water droplet. After Rosen confined the spacetime water droplet with the Miracle Star Sea, he took it into his palm and immediately began to refine it. As the spacetime water droplet merged into his indestructible will, Rosen was instantly filled with endless disappointment.

Any substance has a distinction between origin and non-origin. Origin means continuous mass production, while non-origin means it's merely a consumable. The spacetime water droplet indeed transcended reincarnation, but it was merely a consumable. When integrated into Spacetime Reincarnation, it could at most allow Spacetime Reincarnation to temporarily transcend reincarnation for a brief period. To permanently transcend reincarnation, a mere consumable drop was completely meaningless.

Rosen and the others, with their indestructible wills, almost simultaneously locked onto the last two rhomboid crystals. Then, the eight of them joined forces, forcibly tearing the rhomboid crystals into eight equal parts, one for each. Indeed, they weren't origins either; at best, the quantity of this consumable was simply very large.

This was why five types of transcendent resources continuously appeared after this, but each time they did, Rosen and the others quickly divided them. After several divisions, each person had managed to gather one rhomboid crystal. At this point, the one hundred thousand Reincarnation Lords finally couldn't sit still. They could allow the Epoch Sovereigns to feast, but they, at the very least, needed a share. So, when the first Councillor made a move, the other Councillors followed suit, scrambling for the transcendent resources.

In this situation, Rosen and the Nightfall Sovereign had no choice but to keep their distance. With one hundred thousand Reincarnation Lords fighting over five transcendent resources, no one could possibly seize them all. Ultimately, seeing that no one could monopolize the resources, the Reincarnation Lords tacitly agreed to divide them. Ten thousand people dividing one portion was a bit scarce, but it was better than getting nothing at all.

The eight Speakers each took one portion, and the one hundred thousand Reincarnation Lords collectively divided the remaining nine portions. All Reincarnation Lords were still expecting new transcendent resources to appear. However, the Great Reincarnation Realm's immune system seemed to realize that the resources weren't reaching the immune cells, so it gave up on cultivating existing immune cells. Instead, it began to break through Karma Reincarnation to create new immune cells out of nothing.

In a corner of the Great Reincarnation Realm, a new universe was silently born. Because of Karma Reincarnation's constant effect on karma, the Great Reincarnation Realm had not naturally given birth to a new universe for hundreds of Epoch Cycles. All new universes were artificially created by Reincarnation Lifeforms. Now, a naturally born new universe suddenly appeared, and by the time Rosen and the others noticed, it was too late. When they arrived before this newborn universe, the Spacetime Reincarnation and Karma Reincarnation on its surface had already taken effect. In a short period, the internal time of the new universe had accelerated by hundreds of millions of years, successfully giving birth to a Reincarnation Lifeform out of nothing. Moreover, this Reincarnation Lifeform was already using the five transcendent resources to achieve transcendence.

Through the cosmic barrier, the Nightfall Sovereign and the others felt a threat more powerful than the Reincarnation Will at its peak. If this Reincarnation Lifeform were allowed to transcend, its first action after successful transcendence would be to eliminate them—the "viruses" that activated the immune cells. So, enduring the heartache, Rosen and the others simultaneously took out their respective seized resources and began to transcend. Even if it was not permanent transcendence but only temporary, they could somewhat experience what kind of realm lay beyond transcendence.

As the five resources merged into his body, Rosen began a comprehensive transcendence and sublimation. His indestructible will underwent a metamorphosis, becoming capable of effortlessly encompassing and assimilating the indestructible wills of other Reincarnation Lifeforms. His Reincarnation Holy Body transformed; the life origin within the indestructible will that composed his Reincarnation Holy Body expanded infinitely. He even felt as if he could crush universes with a mere lift of his hand, and the entire Great Reincarnation Realm felt incredibly fragile under his perception.

Finally, his Lord Core's Reincarnation Sovereign authority actually transformed into a partial Great Dao of Reincarnation authority. Rosen could feel that nine other individuals also wielded the Great Dao of Reincarnation authority. Besides the seven Epoch Sovereigns, there was the immune cell currently transcending in the new universe, and the Reincarnation Will, located at the very end of the Great Reincarnation Realm. After searching for the Reincarnation Will for so many years, he finally found it for the first time.

But there was no surprise, only shock, because the Reincarnation Will's transcendence was not temporary but permanent. Unbeknownst to them, the Reincarnation Will had already permanently transcended. But upon carefully sensing the Reincarnation Will's state, Rosen discovered that its current situation was not good. The Reincarnation Will was actually located inside the Great Reincarnation Realm's world barrier, unable to go out and unable to come back. And from the looks of it, the Reincarnation Will had been trapped there not for a day or two, but for at least a thousand Epoch Cycles.

This meant that the Reincarnation Will had transcended long ago, and even attempted to pass through the world barrier to leave the Great Reincarnation Realm after transcending. But it was stuck in the middle, unable to advance or retreat. That's why it split off a portion of its power to form the Indestructible Sovereign. The Indestructible Sovereign that the Nightfall Sovereign and others had encountered, and the Reincarnation Will they had faced for hundreds of Epoch Cycles, were in reality merely a clone of the Reincarnation Will. After the clone dissipated, it returned to its main body, which was why they couldn't find it anywhere within the Great Reincarnation Realm.
