Tiel stepped out of the car and felt the hostility in the air. It was like a heavy layer of wet blanket, annoying and unsettling.
As eyes followed his movements. Like that of a hawk, each pair of eyes stares with speculations of their own, Tiel did his best not to show that he noticed. Holding his head high.
He didn't blame them. But for the sake of hiding away any possible nervousness seeping through his own expression, Tiel put on a pair of sunglasses. One he rarely put on.
Around him there were police officers, dressed in their special color of navy blue, each armed and adorned by batons. Despite not having anything to do with anything that had happened, they too looked nervous. Curious. Perhaps slightly intrigued by the business that was being conducted there.
