Dave sat down with Goku and Vegeta, all three of them casually eating, each trying to replenish their energy after their intense training session. The table was piled high with plates of food, but Dave's hunger didn't seem to lessen. He just kept eating more and more, trying to fill the strange, insatiable void within him. He glanced at Goku and Vegeta, who were also eating at an impressive pace.
"I get it now," Dave muttered between bites. "This is what it's like to be a Saiyan, huh? Always hungry... not just to fill our stomachs, but to fuel all that power inside."
Goku grinned. "Yeah! A Saiyan's appetite is legendary. We burn through so much energy in battle, it's no surprise we're always hungry."
Vegeta looked over, scoffing but also secretly impressed by the sheer amount Dave was eating. "I've never seen anyone eat this much and still look like they haven't had enough. But then again, you're no ordinary Saiyan."
Dave wiped his mouth, glancing at Vegeta. "Guess that's true." His voice became more thoughtful. "It's not just about the food. It's like my body is constantly burning through energy and I can't keep up with it. It feels… almost like I'm always on the edge of something, always hungry for more power."
Whis, who had been quietly observing them from the side, spoke up, "Indeed, that might be the case. For Saiyans, eating isn't just about refueling the body—it also plays a role in their healing and regeneration. It could explain why your hunger feels different, Dave."
Vegeta frowned, looking over at Whis. "Healing? What are you getting at?"
Whis smiled slightly. "Well, it's known that the energy consumed by a Saiyan helps in both replenishing their stamina and assisting in recovery. However, given Dave's unique transformations, it's possible that the hunger you're feeling, Dave, might be linked to your body's attempt to process and balance the immense power you're unlocking."
Dave looked up at Whis, raising an eyebrow. "So, it's not just the hunger from fighting or training... it's something deeper, something my body needs to stabilize all the power?"
Whis nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Precisely. Your transformations, especially the Super Saiyan Destroyer form, are pushing your limits—both physically and mentally. Your body is attempting to absorb and process that power, and the constant hunger could be a sign that you are, in essence, always trying to 'catch up' to the raw energy you're wielding."
'I see, unlocking this many form in short of perios of time have destabilize me huh' Dave thought.
Dave leaned back in his chair, his thoughts heavy. He looked down at the food on his plate but didn't feel the same satisfaction as before. Despite eating so much, he still felt an underlying emptiness.
"That's... a lot to process," Dave said quietly. "I guess I've been so focused on fighting that I didn't even think about the toll it's taking on my body. But now, it makes sense."
"By the way, what are you doing here?" Dave asked, as he saw Whis smiling while gently sipping his drink.
"Oh, Lord Beerus was feeling concerned that you might not be ready to handle the full extent of your power, so he asked me to talk to you about it," Whis explained casually.
"I see," Dave nodded. "I also get it now. It's do or die. This isn't just about me." Dave shook his head as Whis smiled slightly.
"Yes, it's do or die. Either you win, or the whole universe gets erased," Whis said nonchalantly, as if discussing something trivial.
"Are you not afraid of death?" Dave asked him, a bit curious.
Whis tilted his head and smiled. "Why should I be? I'm just here to help you. The fate of the universe isn't my responsibility, but it seems like a necessary duty."
Goku and Vegeta exchanged glances, their expressions serious. "You'll know soon enough, but if the universe is erased, you're going with it," Vegeta added, glancing at Whis.
Whis chuckled lightly, his tone calm. "We Angels have been tasked with serving the Gods of Destruction. So, I'll just remain alive long enough to help guide the new God of Destruction that will emerge after this universe is erased."
"so, you wil be spared?" Goku asked as Whis nodded.
Vegeta crossed his arms, grumbling. "You sure have it easy."
Whis merely shrugged, still smiling. "It's not about ease. It's just my role."
Meanwhile, on the other side of the camp, Goku and Vegeta's friends were gathered around, talking about Broly (Dave) and his mysterious emergence. They had all been watching from a distance, keeping an eye on the developments as the power struggle unfolded.
"Man, I still can't believe how strong he is," Krillin said, shaking his head in disbelief. "When I first saw him, I thought he was just another Super Saiyan gone berserk, but this is on a whole different level. He even fought toe-to-toe with Beerus!"
Piccolo nodded, his arms folded in thought. "Yeah, it's like he's something beyond even a normal Super Saiyan. His power is raw and uncontrolled, but it has a destructive potential that none of us expected."
"True," Gohan added. "I could feel the energy just from here. It's hard to even comprehend how someone could tap into that much raw force and still be alive."
"Not to mention, we don't even know where he came from," Android 18 said. "He just appeared out of nowhere, and now he's battling gods. Who is he really, and what's his story?"
"Whatever the case is," Supreme Kai chimed in from a distance, overhearing part of the conversation, "that boy's power is a force to be reckoned with. I haven't seen a Saiyan like him in a long time—maybe ever. But he's still a wild card. We can't afford to let our guard down around him."
"I don't know..." Krillin said thoughtfully, rubbing the back of his head. "There's something about him that's different. He's not like the usual kind of berserk Saiyan. He's not just attacking blindly. Like he is not even gone berserk."
