"Midoriya-kun, you're back. And Shinso Hitoshi, welcome to the League of Villains."
Thanks to Kurogiri's warp gate, Midoriya and the others arrived directly at the League of Villains' base, where All For One had been waiting for them with a smile.
"Midoriya-kun, Midoriya-kun! I was just about to break you out myself!"
Toga Himiko came bouncing over with a cheerful grin. As always, whenever she saw Midoriya, she stuck to him like glue.
Watching this unfold, Shinso Hitoshi, standing beside Midoriya, raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Midoriya... You actually have girls throwing themselves at you in the League of Villains?"
"......"
Midoriya couldn't deny that dealing with Toga Himiko was a headache. No matter how many times he tried to shake her off, she always found a way back.
But now wasn't the time to mess around. Turning to Shinso, he said,
"Can you distract her for me? I have something important to do."
"Got it."
Without hesitation, Shinso turned to Toga and asked,
"Do you like Midoriya?"
"Like? I LOVE him! I'd go crazy without him!!"
"I see… Well, I have a ton of secret info about Midoriya. Want to hear it?"
"I want it! I want it so bad!!"
And just like that, with a few simple words, Shinso lured Toga away.
Midoriya could only shake his head, pressing his hand against his forehead.
Well, whatever. At least things were a bit quieter now.
"You're back, boss."
"I was just talking with the others about busting you out. You're our leader, after all."
Dabi waved casually, greeting him with a grin.
Midoriya didn't have much to say about that. If there were people who believed in him and were willing to support him, then the only way to repay them was through action.
"Stain, go ahead and talk things out with the others in the League. As for the past, I won't hold anything against you."
"Tch... Didn't think you'd change this much in such a short time."
The "Hero Killer" Stain clicked his tongue in surprise.
During the time he spent as Midoriya's cellmate, his own views had been influenced by Midoriya's ideology. In a way, he had come to agree with and support the new League of Villains' direction.
So when Shinso Hitoshi broke Midoriya and Kurogiri out of prison, Stain was brought along as well.
After all, they were all criminals—there was no point in drawing a line between "clean" and "dirty."
Midoriya had a major plan to carry out, and he needed every capable person he could get.
Now, like Shinso, Stain was officially part of the League of Villains.
Meanwhile, Kurogiri was happily back behind the bar, mixing drinks.
Prison life hadn't been the worst, but not having a shaker in his hands for so long had been unbearable.
Resuming his usual work, Kurogiri slid a freshly mixed drink over to All For One.
The man took a deep sip, then let out a satisfied sigh.
"Been a while since I had one of your cocktails. I kinda missed this."
"You flatter me, Master," Kurogiri replied politely.
All For One slowly savored the rest of his drink as Midoriya Izuku walked over and took a seat beside him.
"You're right. No one person can hold up the order of society forever. As long as they're human, emotions will affect their judgment, and they'll make mistakes."
"That's exactly why I don't like All Might. I don't even mind that he defeated me, but using 'One For All' for such pointless actions… it's truly disappointing."
All For One spoke slowly. Midoriya Izuku didn't know what to say, so he simply turned to Kurogiri and asked,
"Can I have a drink? I want to try it."
"That's not a problem, but Midoriya-kun, aren't you underage?"
"Do laws really mean anything to someone like me, a 'villain'?"
"Fair enough. Just wait a moment."
Kurogiri skillfully began mixing a cocktail. Meanwhile, All For One shifted his gaze to Shinso Hitoshi, who was busy sweet-talking Toga Himiko. He couldn't help but admire him.
"You really have a great friend. Honestly, I'm quite jealous..."
"Too bad… I was never meant to be his friend."
Right now, Shinso Hitoshi had an extra Quirk—one that belonged to a former executive of the Shie Hassaikai, a man named Onimoto Makoto. His Quirk, 'Truthful Confession,' forced people to speak their honest thoughts.
By itself, it wasn't a particularly useful ability in battle. But when combined with Shinso's 'Brainwashing' Quirk, it became a nearly unstoppable force. Unless someone had an ability like 'One For All' that allowed them to break free from altered states, no one could defeat Shinso head-on.
All For One had taken an interest in this Quirk after Shinso first leaked information to him. So, he made a trip to the prison and secretly stole it, hoping to lure Shinso into the League of Villains.
But, unsurprisingly, it didn't work.
Even with a Quirk combination that made him nearly unbeatable, Shinso didn't see the point. At the time, he'd rather stay on the path of a hero… well, a double agent, at least.
When Midoriya Izuku was imprisoned, Shinso Hitoshi reached out to All For One. He needed the 'Truthful Confession' Quirk to rescue his friend.
All For One, who had already been plotting other ways to break Midoriya out, happily agreed. It was an opportunity too perfect to pass up.
With a Quirk that forced people to tell the truth, Shinso could trigger his Brainwashing ability more easily. Unfortunately, Sir Nighteye became the first victim—completely controlled.
Shinso then took him to the prison and tricked All Might and Togata Mirio into leaving. After all, Nighteye was the only one who could successfully fool them.
In the end, the plan worked perfectly, and Midoriya Izuku was rescued.
"Midoriya-kun, your drink is ready."
Kurogiri slid a cocktail in front of him.
Midoriya picked up the glass and took a big sip—only to start coughing violently. The burning taste hit his throat like a punch, making his eyes water.
He bent over, clutching his mouth, while tears rolled down his face.
All For One gave him a few reassuring pats on the back, trying to help him recover.
"Ugh… is alcohol always this awful? Then why do adults even like drinking it?"
"Because the pain adults go through… is far worse than any drink."
The man's slow response left Midoriya deep in thought.
Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to finish the rest of the drink, enduring the burning sensation all the way down.
"I'm ready to accept your Quirk. Does that offer still stand?"
"Of course. I'll always be waiting for you."
