A huge slab-like brick of stone rose up from the ground, slamming down on Gray's head and breaking in half from the impact.

A tree was ripped from the ground, glowing in a green aura as it slammed into Gray's side and snapped in half as it collided with his muscular physique.

The nearby campfire floated into the air, launching forward into Gray's chest as it extinguished on the front of his armor. The wood fueling it crumpled apart, landing around him as he didn't budge.

"You moron!" Tatsumaki finished dramatically, slamming her hands down as two more trees fell onto Gray's head, snapping in half and crumbling around him as he didn't move an inch.
"Gray's being attacked!" Behind him, Gray heard Caulifla finally join the rest of his squad, as the majority of them had already arrived and were watching Tatsumaki's tantrum, "I'll kick her ass for you-"
I appreciate the support, but-
"It's fine," Gray raised his arm, blocking Caulfila's path as she started sprinting toward Tatsumaki with her fist raised. He pushed his excited grin down, composing himself from the high that came from finding not just one, but two walking sexy gravity chambers, "That one was on me. I saw a sexy-ass gravity chamber, got excited, and that came out. My bad."

"Pervert…" Celia muttered to his side dryly, and Gray didn't feel like he could say she was wrong at this point.
"Stop saying stuff like that!" Tatsumaki blushed even deeper, betraying her words as another tree came flying at Gray. Gray knew the attacks were more 'flustered self-defense' than actual attacks, as the force the S-Class hero was chucking stuff at Gray with wasn't enough to do any significant damage.
"We should beat their asses!" Caulifla tried again, slamming her fist forward and smashing a part the tree before it reached Gray, "Are these the enemies? I'll take the little girl, Gray, you take the baldy!"
"Who are you calling a little girl, you moronic-"
"They're our allies," Gray interrupted before Tatsumaki could start attacking Caulifla, looking over blandly at the Saiyan girl, "And don't call her a little girl after I just called her sexy - it makes me look bad! She's a full-grown woman!"

Gray blinked, staring blankly at the notification as he got an absurd amount of reputation.
Does that happen a lot? I know she's short and her face is cute, but she's 28! She doesn't even look like a kid!
"Our allies? Then we can go beat up the Monster King guy!" Caulifla nodded determinedly, grinning slightly excitedly, "Finally! I've been in that cramped pod for way too long! I need to punch someone!"
"No," Celia shut her down instantly, "We need to exchange information first, and make a plan. We can't just charge in like we've been doing on the other planets."
"M-My goldfish! I could barely afford those!" Gray idly ignored Saitama as he ran past him, looking overly concerned as Pig God threw a bag of goldfish - yes, the entire bag, even the bag itself - into his mouth.
Yeah, not the secret mastermind type of character.
"Again?" Caulifla sighed, her shoulders slumping at Celia's words, "I hate these exposition days… I just wanna go punch people!"
"If we don't plan thoroughly, then we'll end up dead," Celia replied bluntly, "If you were struggling against that monster on Mam, then you'll stand no chance against the monsters here."
"I wasn't struggling! He was just running the whole fight!" Caulifla huffed back defensively.
"We're taking some time to plan first," Gray said with finality, causing Caulifla's shoulders to slump again. He turned to Tatsumaki, raising an eyebrow at her, "You probably already have a plan, right?"
She's definitely the smart one in this group.
Gray at least really hoped she was, because Demon Cyborg had gone on a ramble about the planet's surface and climate when he was asked, and the other two…
"Give it back! They won't be on sale for another two weeks!"
"Thebers nob getbbing ig babk…"
Gray glanced over his shoulder, where Saitama's hand was literally in Pig God's mouth as he tried to pull out the bag of goldfish from the man's stomach.
If she's not the smart one, then we're fucked.
"Of course I do," Tatsumaki huffed smugly, but then glanced over at the multiple heroes in Gray's growing group, "I-I guess you can stay, since you at least can tell my womanly charm, but Fubuki can't. Take her back to Harro, Silver Fang."
"That's not up to me," Bang just chuckled, nodding over at Gray, who had been designated as the leader of the mission.
"You can't tell me what to do, sister," Fubuki shot back, still sounding a bit shaky as she looked nervous about going against her sister, "I'm on this mission for a reason! I'm not leaving!"
"I can't protect you here," Tatsumaki shot back with a hard look. "You'll just be in the way. Take her back, Silver Fang."
"She's not leaving," Gray spoke up bluntly, "Sexy gravity chamber #1 is staying by my side the whole time, sexy gravity chamber #2! I'm not letting anything happen to her."
"S-Stop calling me that!"
"If I won't be able to protect her here, you definitely can't," Tatsumaki just replied harshly, blushing slightly at his comment but not backing down.
"We're stronger than you think," Gray shot back easily, locking eyes with Tatsumaki as he smirked lightly, "I don't like how weak you've been acting like I am, even if you are a sexy gravity chamber. In case the Hero Association didn't tell you, we were sent here to wipe out all life on all of the planets, including this one. Either tell us the plan and we can work together, or move out of the way and we'll handle this without you."
Gray was all for working with the sexy woman, and he definitely wanted to keep her around, but he wasn't going to let her push them around. His squad had been sent with the intention to take down the entire Planet Coalition without any help - Tatsumaki, Saitama, and the other two heroes would be great help to have, but Gray wasn't going to act like a bitch to get their help.
I'll use my points, wait here until the moon is overhead, and then we can just rampage the entire planet without them.
Tatsumaki just stared hard back at him, still not looking convinced, and then glanced over at Bang.
"For what my opinion is worth, they are much stronger than I am," Bang just grinned lightly, causing Tatsumaki to blink in surprise, "And, when they use their transformations, I think even you would be hard-pressed to take him down, Tornado of Terror. Whether you intend to work with them or not, I will be staying on this side."
Damn, thanks old man.
Gray grinned lightly at his words, as it seemed Bang had been impressed with what he had seen on the previous planets. And, judging by Tatsumaki's resigned sigh, it seemed she actually respected the elderly man's opinion.
"Fine," She bit out, resigning to the idea of working with Gray's squad and letting Fubuki stay on Monas, "But you're all doing what I say, alright? This isn't my first time here."
"We'll decide that when we hear your plan," Celia countered easily, causing Tatsumaki to huff in annoyance. "Just explain the situation, and then what your plan is."
"Fine. Monas is pretty chaotic - there's no real society or cities here," Tatsumaki started, not looking very happy as she explained, "It's all monsters here, and they don't get along. It's kill or be killed, expect for in one place: The Tower."
"The tower?" Gray asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
"It's a large tower built into a mountain," Tatsumaki explained, "I went there when the alliance was first made, so I know the layout roughly. At the bottom, which is so deep it's near Monas' core, is where the Monster King, Orochi, lives. It's like a maze down there, and a bunch of his 'executives' are down there too, though we killed a couple on the other planets on our way here."
We're fighting underground? That'll be annoying.
"We should just blow up the tower," Gray said bluntly, not liking the idea of fighting in an enclosed space. "I don't want to fight in some underground chamber. Let's force them out."
"If it were that easy, I would've already done that." Tatsumkai shook her head bluntly, "That's the main problem. When I came here the first time, there was no tower. It was just the underground maze part. The tower was made recently to protect something - this big tree thing that creates their power-increasing substance."
A big tree creating power-boosting substances?
Gray's mind instantly thought about the only thing he knew that fit that description - the Tree of Might.
But, why the hell would it be on this random-ass planet? I don't even know if Turles exists in this world.
Gray pushed his thoughts aside, keeping them in the back of his mind, but deciding that it was too unlikely as Tatsumaki continued.
"I can take Orochi, even with his power boost, but the problem is at the top of the tower," Tatsumaki continued, frowning lightly, "They teamed up with an alien who calls himself 'Boros.' I don't know how powerful he is, but Orochi views him as an equal."
That must be the wannabe Frieza guy.
"He stays on the upper part of the tower, above the surface. If you try to blow up the whole thing, he'll come out to stop you," Tatsumaki explained further, "There's another strong alien with him - the same kind as you guys - who we need to get through."
I didn't know about the tower, but I figured out the four enemies already. The Monster King, the wannabe Frieza, the other Saiyan Squad leader, and then 'god.'
"Is god here?" Gray asked bluntly, raising an eyebrow at her.
"...I guess?" Tatsumaki didn't give him the answer he wanted, just staring at him strangely, "You don't look like the religious type."
She definitely doesn't know about the one I'm thinking of.
"If it was just the Monster King, then I'd have busted in there already," Tatsumaki finished bluntly, "But the other two make it tricky. Boros and - hey, baldy, what'd you say the other guy's name was?"
"Huh?" Saitama turned around from where he had been standing depressedly, mourning the loss of his goldfish, "The funny looking guy? He was Turtle."
"Orochi, Boros, and Turtle," Tatsumaki nodded in finality, and Gray just resisted letting out a groan.
Yeah, he definitely fuckin' means Turles.
Gray would've much preferred if the unknown Saiyans were just random grunts Frieza sent to fuck them over.
That means they've been eating fruit from the Tree of Might.
Y'know, the fruit that just instantly increases someone's power level by at least 10 times? And, the fruit that keeps growing and can be eaten repeatedly if the planet had enough energy for the tree to absorb?
And, we just so happen to be on a planet full of powerful monsters constantly killing each other and supplying energy for the tree.
Gray suddenly understood why he had been having an ominous feeling lately.
So, not just the Monster King, wannabe Frieza, and Turles, but giga-Monster King, giga-wannabe Frieza, and giga-Turles.
Gray sighed, pulling up his menu as he looked at his points and coins.
I'm about to be broke after this mission.
As per usual, there was only one thing to blame for this.
Fucking Nightmare Mode.
