Julian had just arrived at the apartment, when he received the news of Cassie's admission into the hospital. Of course, he tried to call Serena and get a rundown of the situation, but she wasn't answering any of his calls.
And after some hours of worrying, he finally decided to go to the hospital.
Right as he was about to step out the door, he sighted Kayden come out of the house, draped in a thick heavy blanket, with his aunt Susan supporting him.
Mindlessly he made his way to them, "Why are you out so late? You'll catch a cold-" he reached for his shoulder, but Kayden slapped his touch away.
"There is no need to act worried about me, you already forced me into coming here, the least you can do is stay out of my way." He hissed, then turned to leave.
Julian tried to stop him, but Susan shook her head dismissing the thought. She watched her brother's helpless gaze, as Kayden made his way back inside and slammed the door behind him.
