The first thing that caught Sarah by surprise was seeing Brooke no longer using crutches, she gasped at her niece walking and lunged forward, enveloping her in a tight hug.
"Brooke, you're walking! Since when? Did Ethan do this?" She whispered softly in staunch disbelief.
Brooke pulled apart and gestured her to sit at the awaiting table, thankfully it was a private room, and Brooke had taken extra measures in making sure no one followed her.
Sitting down she answered, "I don't know how to tell you this, I don't even know where to start."
Sarah reached over the table and held Brooke's hand tightly, "Please, tell me all that happened when I left."
After twenty long minutes of narration, Brooke got Sarah up to speed with the recent developments, but she omitted Thane and everything revolving him.
