Bang! Bang! Bang!
A series of knocks came from the door. At first, the sound was light, but as it went unanswered, the force grew heavier, eventually escalating to the equivalent of someone trying to break the door down.
If not for the faintly glowing red magical sigils on the door enhancing its defense, it probably would have been smashed open long ago.
Thanks to this, Haru, with an exasperated look, opened his eyes.
He sat up, leaning his back against the headboard. His perception instantly fanned out, and after identifying the figure knocking outside, a trace of helplessness flashed in his eyes.
Under the bright sunlight streaming through the window, a girl with waist-length hair shimmering with golden light, wearing a pristine white pleated skirt, her slender legs clad in white over-the-knee socks—a figure like a pure white elf—was glaring impatiently at the door.
In his perception, the golden-haired beauty outside had her snow-white nails gradually extending, her crimson eyes continuously scanning the door, as if searching for the best place to strike.
"Coming!" Haru frowned, scratched his hair, clicked his tongue, and called out, his voice laced with fatigue.
"Hurry up!!" Hearing a response, Arcueid's lips curved into a bright smile, her incomparably exquisite face radiating a cheerful glow as she spoke in a light, airy tone.
"Mmph! Waaah—!" Reines, who had her head buried under the covers, suddenly poked her head out, her eyes still sleepy as she cried out. "Is it morning already?"
"Ahh~, it's nine o'clock," Haru yawned, gently stroking the little girl's messy golden hair as he spoke softly.
"Want to get up and have breakfast together?" Haru blinked, his eyes adjusting to the light, then lowered his head to ask Reines, who was still in a dazed, early-morning state.
"My tummy... is so full. I don't want to eat," a clear and sweet loli voice replied.
Seeing the faint traces of... salad dressing... on her delicate face, a flash of embarrassment crossed Haru's features.
After all, she was a six-year-old European loli.
Even though she had been ordered by her family to come here willingly, it was still, at best, a morally grey area with serious potential consequences. Even if Haru had only "treated" Reines to a lollipop and several glasses of milk.
"If you don't eat breakfast, you won't grow properly, you know. If you don't want to stay short, you should get up and eat," Haru said, standing up and getting dressed while coaxing Reines.
A disdainful look shot from her emerald-green eyes towards Haru's face. Reines said, her expression impassive, "You're treating me like a child?"
Seeing her little-adult-like face, Haru's lip twitched.
He snapped his fingers lightly, and a mirror materialized out of thin air above Reines, her petite, childlike body fully reflected on its surface. "See for yourself. Are you a child or not?"
Reines turned her head, looking at her reflection in the mirror. One meter twenty in height, a cute, chubby face, slender limbs with a touch of baby fat, and messy golden hair.
If her golden hair were neatly combed and the... salad dressing... wiped from her face, she'd be the very picture of an adorable, dazed loli.
In fact, Haru did just that.
Two simple utility spells—'Tidy' and 'Cleanse'—and a dazed, adorable loli in a white silk nightgown appeared before his eyes.
Reines's gaze went blank for a moment, then she narrowed her eyes and said with a calm expression, "After last night, I'm not a child anymore."
"Cough, cough, cough." Haru coughed dryly several times, a capital 'AWKWARD' practically written across his face.
Seeing his embarrassed expression, a teasing glint flashed in Reines's eyes.
Girls from magus families matured exceptionally quickly.
Originally, when she learned yesterday that Kayneth would be offering her to the True Magic User, she had imagined that True Magic User to be some perverted old man with a penchant for lolis.
But after meeting him in person, she discovered he was just a lecherous fellow who wasn't entirely bad-hearted. After all, he had even refrained from the act of... insertion... because of her age, even though she herself had endured it with some difficulty.
Compared to those mages who lusted after lolis and had a penchant for sadistic torture, Haru's personality was already very gentle.
At least, Reines was sure that by Haru's side, she wouldn't have to live in constant fear, and wouldn't even have to suppress her own mischievous nature.
Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong!
"Are you not ready yet!!!" A dissatisfied voice, accompanied by knocking, came from outside the door.
"Alright, I'll have someone bring breakfast for you. Just make sure you eat it. I'll check when I get back," Haru scratched his head and walked out of the room with a helpless expression.
After Haru left the room, the petite figure threw back the covers and poked the cheek of the girl beside her who was feigning sleep.

"My, my, my, so this is the relationship between the Queen of the Clock Tower and the True Magic User. I originally thought the tabloid rumors of them being friends-with-benefits were bad enough, but I never expected it to actually be a master-slave relationship."
A joyful expression spread across the loli's face as Reines looked teasingly at Lorelei, who was pretending to be asleep beside her.
Haru, feeling frustrated and unable to vent on Reines, had naturally dragged Lorelei, who lived next door, over for a... thrashing. Thanks to that, Reines believed she had discovered 'Lorelei's big secret.'
"...Do you want to die, brat?" Lorelei opened her tightly shut eyes and spoke coldly to Reines.
"Are you sure you want to kill me? Aren't you afraid 'Big Brother Haru' will hold you accountable?" Reines placed her hands on her hips, looking down at the reclining Lorelei, her voice sweet.
Suddenly, Reines's expression turned 'terrified.' She said in a panicked voice, "For a slave, being held accountable would probably be even more pleasurable—Reines is going to be killed by the Barthomeloi head with her strange fetishes."
Hearing these mocking words, Lorelei's face turned ashen. She gritted her teeth and said, "The Archisorte family has raised a fine daughter."
Lorelei understood that Reines was banking on the fact that she wouldn't kill her.
Although, as the head of Barthomeloi, executing a descendant of a prominent family—and not even a direct heir—was easier for her than crushing an ant.
However, Haru had a peculiar fondness for this 'well-behaved' loli who had been willingly offered up. If she were to eliminate Reines, Lorelei knew that Barthomeloi would likely face the wrath of a True Magic User and the entire Holy Church.
"Hehe." Reines fiddled with her fingers shyly, like a child being praised by her parents, but her emerald-green eyes were filled with amusement.
Though young, Reines already considered herself a qualified 'sadist.' The thought of the Queen of the Clock Tower being 'trained' by someone—even though she wasn't the one doing it—watching someone with a brilliant future go astray was a very interesting thing for her.
———
"Hmph!! So slow! You clearly promised to take me shopping," Arcueid pouted, looking dissatisfiedly at Haru.
"Sorry, my fault," Haru chuckled, apologizing to Arcueid.
"Well, I forgive you. Let's go quickly." Hearing Haru's apology, Arcueid's lips curved upwards. Her pale, slender arm hooked Haru's, pulling him towards the Clock Tower's main gate.
