Arthur, his gaze fixed on the shimmering portal that served as the entrance to the dungeon.
Today was the day he would venture to the third floor, a new level of challenges and, hopefully, rewards.
Turning to Emilia and Rem, who had accompanied him, a gentle smile touched his lips.
Rem still felt shy after she served him nightly duty.
Emilia felt a little jealous but she knew her turn would come soon.
Arthur had promised her. He would be with her after he came back from the third floor.
"Alright, let's go. I will go to the third floor today."
His words signaled not only his own intention but also a farewell to his companions.
For Emilia and Rem, their duty lay on the first floor of the dungeon.
It was time for them to return to their home.
As for Azula and the others, they had no pressing matters.
They had chosen to spend their time at Arthur's home.
The atmosphere at Arthur's home was much more happy and welcoming in contrast to their home.
Arthur was about to go into the portal.
He felt excited but also a little concern about the third floor.
The third floor held the unknown, and he knew he had to be ready for whatever awaited him.
With a final nod to Emilia and Rem, he stepped into the swirling light. He directly entered the third floor after paying DP to the dungeon.

The swirling light of the portal sent Arthur into a vibrant, bustling city street.
Towering buildings scraped the sky, and strange vehicles zipped along paved roads.
"This world's setting is in the modern age. What world am I in now?"
Arthur tried to get more information from the surrounding.
Suddenly, a flash of red caught his eye.
A young girl, no older than fifteen, wielding a massive scythe that seemed impossibly large for her frame, was engaged in a frantic battle against a man in a white suit and bowler hat.
Explosions rocked the street, and peculiar glowing projectiles flew through the air.
"Wait a minute… Isn't that Ruby Rose? The third floor is RWBY world?!"
Arthur was surprised.
RWBY was set on Remnant, a world with humans and animal-like faunus fighting monsters called Grimm.
They use a magical energy source called Dust and their unique soul-powered abilities called Semblances.
The story follows teams of student warriors training to be Huntsmen and Huntresses at academies in the four kingdoms of Remnant.
Arthur had just arrived in Vale through the portal and was witnessing Ruby Rose, a young scythe-wielding hero, fighting the villainous Roman Torchwick.
Ruby with the scythe spun, her weapon a blur.
"Hah! You can't touch me!"
She exclaimed, her voice surprisingly cheerful despite the chaotic situation.
The man in the white suit chuckled, a cruel sound that echoed through the street.
"Such enthusiasm, little red. But you're clearly outmatched!"
He fired a series of glowing red blasts from his cane.
As a stray blast whizzed past him, Arthur realized he couldn't just stand by anymore.
He also received a dungeon mission to help little red to get more DP.
However, it didn't give him parameters to upgrade.
Without a second thought, he channeled his mana, preparing to intervene.
"Let me join in the fun!"
Arthur called out, his voice cutting through the noise of the fight.
He stepped forward, drawing out his crimson wand.
The sudden appearance of a new figure caught both the girl and the man in the white suit off guard.
The girl with the scythe paused, her silver eyes wide with surprise.
"Who are you?"
She asked, her scythe still held defensively.
The man in the white suit smirked, adjusting his bowler hat.
"Well, well. What have we here? Another pest?"
He aimed his cane at Arthur.
"Step aside, friend. This is none of your business."
Arthur stood his ground, his gaze fixed on the man.
"Who is your friend? You are picking on a kid is definitely my business,"
Arthur retorted, his crimson wand glowing with contained energy.
"Especially when she's fighting someone with such a terrible fashion sense."
He flicked his wand, and a bolt of crimson energy shot towards Roman.
Roman, surprised by the sudden attack, sidestepped nimbly, his cane clicking against the pavement.
"Oh ho! A magician, are we?"
He grinned, a flash of sharp teeth.
"Always something new in this city."
He fired another volley of red blasts, forcing Arthur to raise a shimmering magical shield.
Ruby, seeing her chance, pressed her attack, her scythe a whirlwind of steel.
Arthur moved to intercept Roman's counterattacks, deflecting blasts with his wand while keeping an eye on Ruby.
He was careful not to unleash his full power, mindful of the mission to help Ruby, not overshadow her.
"You're surprisingly persistent, kid,"
Roman said, parrying Ruby's scythe with his cane.
He then shot a grappling hook from the end of Melodic Cudgel, aiming for a nearby rooftop.
Arthur could easily have intercepted him, but he held back, remembering the flow of the original story.
He needed Roman to escape for Glynda to appear.
"Looks like our friend here is making a hasty retreat!"
Arthur called out to Ruby, feigning a bit of struggle as Roman ascended.
Just as Roman disappeared over the rooftops, a powerful gust of wind swept through the alleyway.
A woman in green, with a stern expression and a riding crop in hand, descended gracefully from the sky.
"What in the world is going on here?"
Glynda Goodwitch's voice was firm, her gaze sweeping over the damaged street, Ruby, and finally settling on Arthur.
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
"Ah! Emmm?"
Ruby exclaimed, lowering her scythe.
"That bad guy, he was trying to rob a Dust shop!"
Ruby pointed at the direction where Roman had escaped.
It was slightly different from the original because of Arthur's appearance.
Glynda's attention returned to Ruby.
"Miss..."
Glynda began, her gaze sharp as she looked at Ruby.
"You possess a rather… dangerous weapon for someone your age. And your involvement in this disturbance?"
She then turned her attention back to Arthur, her expression still questioning.
"And you, sir. You are not a student of Beacon, are you?."
Arthur sheathed his wand, offering Glynda a polite, albeit slightly bewildered, smile.
"My name is Arthur. And I am not a student of Beacon. I simply saw someone causing trouble and felt compelled to intervene."
Glynda's gaze remained fixed on Arthur for a moment longer, assessing him.
"Intervene? You appeared in the midst of a robbery, wielding what appears to be… a normal wand. Your story is… unusual."
She then turned back to Ruby, her expression softening slightly but still firm.
"And you, Miss, While your intentions may have been commendable, engaging a known criminal in such a reckless manner is unacceptable."
She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"This situation requires further clarification. Both of you will accompany me to the police station nearby. We can sort this out there."
She gestured with her riding crop towards the direction of a nearby police station.
"Come along now."
Ruby looked slightly apprehensive but nodded.
"Yes, ma'am."
She glanced at Arthur, a mixture of curiosity and concern in her silver eyes.
She didn't want to be alone with such a scary woman.
Arthur offered Ruby a reassuring nod.
"Lead the way, Professor."
He knew resisting a powerful figure like Glynda would be futile and likely counterproductive.
Cooperating seemed the most sensible course of action, even if it meant a detour to a police station in this strange new world.
Glynda walked ahead, her
posture radiating authority.
Ruby and Arthur followed, the remnants of their brief battle with Roman Torchwick scattered behind them.
The bustling city life continued around them, oblivious to the unusual trio heading towards the local law enforcement.
Arthur wondered what kind of questions awaited him and how he would explain his sudden appearance in Remnant.
This third floor was certainly keeping him on his toes.
