Bringing back the three tails to the land of snow at the secret hide out was both important and concerning thing for Shika. Part of him just wanted to tell the location of the place to the giant turtle but he knew that he can't do that.
Even with his Rinnegan he don't have full confidence that he can spot black Zetsu if he was hanging around here, let alone stop him from following them.
If the Akatsuki knowing about him and his little organization was something he didn't like then them learning about the location of his secret base was absolute no-go for Shika, especially when it was both Black Zetsu and Obito. They would attack the place any time if they knew the location and he won't be able to do anything.
He had worked hard to prevent that place from being found, from seals to binding vows. Even his own organization members didn't knew the exact location of the place beside Karin as she was the only one allowed to have any resembles of freedom there and could roam around and go out of the base.
Others, enter and leave through his Rinnegan and that's it. No other way, no possible leak of the location at all.
"What are you thinking. Let's go." Fuu asked Shika, wondering what the boy was thinking.
"We can't just say the location to him. I believe three tails but we have to keep the base location a secret." Shika replied a she wondered how to bring back the Biju to the base.
He certainly can't open his Rinnegan portal big enough for the entire mountain-size turtle to fit in, now can he.
"Oh…" Fuu once again remembers how paranoid this man could be in certain situations. She almost rolled her eyes. Shika didn't mind, she was like everyone else but Shika knew better.
Others didn't knew the means of the enemy yet, if they knew what they are capable of then they wouldn't act like this.
'Sigh, whatever, I see no other option here.' He muttered to himself and slowly walk upto the Three Tails to put his offer in.
"What do you want human." Three tails asked, still now he was contemplating whether what he heard and saw was true or just a dream. When Shika approached him, he kept on staring at Shika, more importantly his eyes only Shika's left eye at where the Rinnegan was.
"I wish to ask to you something. It is possible for you to enter into a pack with one of our member and make him a Jinchuriki." Shika asked, he use his best polite tone as possible. He made sure that he was asking and not ordering.
Instantly the mood of the three tails change, he didn't say anything but Shika could see the condensading look he was throwing at him.
Three Tail was very wary of doing anything like that, Jinchuriki might be a powerful weapon for those human and even some Biju went along good with their host but ultimately what it is, is a jail, a prison for the Biju.
"And why should I willingly let myself be locked behind a prison like that." Three Tail asked.
Shika would sense both anger and hesitation behind those words, but he also saw that the three tail weren't completely against the the way he asked this.
"There are only two reason. One is that I can't teleport you with you current size to the base. Telling you the base location would be a thing but as I already told you, Akatsuki got mean to spy on us, if they know the location of the base then things could go bad.
No one in the organization knew of the base location besides me and I always use teleportation from Rinnegan to take them to the base, if not then they stay outside of the base." Shika said and waited for three tails reaction.
Three tails at this just snorted, intelligent they might be but they were proud beast, even knowing that they were in danger here, they weren't ready to act like some cowards.
"What's the second reason." He asked, not paying much attention to the first. He didn't like how the human was so secretive and lacked the spines.
"Fighting force. As you already know, they have powerful people and sooner or later they will act against us. I don't even think that I can save all the Biju. While you are very strong in your current form but you are also easy to capture with that size. Being inside a Jinchuriki gives you more mobility in terms of running away but also they can't directly make Geto Statue Absorb you. It's not only attaching the fighting power to our ranks but also delay our enemy's plans which of course is good in case if any one of you are captured then we can have some time to save you." Shika said, at this point coming up with all the reason he could to make Biju see logic.
"Hmmm." Three tails hmm to himself thinking what should he do.
He didn't want to be captured and be a prisoner once again. However, he didn't sense any hostile intent from Shika. Biju can sense emotions to some degree and he sense the boy wasn't lying.
"I don't intend to become a prisoner again." He said. What Shika heard though what that the Biju wasn't completely against the idea.
"You're not gonna be a prisoner I can assure you that. If you wish then I'm ready to create a seal which doesn't completely bind you. Won't restrict you and even let you move around inside the seal."
"That is not good enough, once you beat this Akatsuki, I want out." Three Tails said.
"Hmm…Once the threat of Akatsuki is over, you can be free. However, I will appreciate if you stay inside that human until his entire natural life else we find a way to extract you out without killing the human. A single human life span is not that big deal for Biju like you right." Shika gave another offer.
The Biju once again thought to himself pondering whether he should agree. It's true that a single human lifespan wasn't that long for Biju like them. If it meant freedom then he wouldn't mind. But he can't trust humans.
"Leave the seal open, so that I can get out anytime I wish to."
"If you do that then the host will die." Shika purse his lips, he wasn't ready to sacrifice one of his members and more importantly friends like that.
"Patience… I never said I'd do that. What I said is to just leave the seal open. I don't believe you humans. If you don't do as agree then only I'll leave the human, otherwise, I'll stay until his or her old age." Three Tails said, making Shika ponder.
Just like how the beast can't trust the human, how come a human trust a beast.
Shika ponders how to make this transaction safe for the Jinchuriki as well.
'Maybe a binding vow…?' Shika thought to himself.
