When Dean and Leah arrived back at the reservation, he had a moment of Deja vu as Sam greeted them.
(Sam,) said Dean.
(It's good you're here. More have been turning since you left, and I've been swamped trying to care for everyone. Our numbers have swelled to nearly 20 strong,) said Sam.
(More? How many exactly?) asked Dean.
(Including everyone, we're up to 17, with seven new ones that need to be trained,) said Sam.
(Any females?) asked Leah curiously.
(Afraid not,) said Sam.
(You're one of a kind,) said Dean, amused.
Leah snorted, (Sexist spirits,) not liking the fact that she was only made to be Dean's broodmare, although it got her what she wanted.
(Woah, careful, we owe them a lot, sexist or not,) said Jared, coming into view.
(What are you doing here? Is the wife tired of you already?) asked Leah jokingly.
(Of course not,) said Jared, puffing out his chest, (Who could get tired of this,) he said narcissistically.
Leah rolled her eyes, (That doesn't work as a wolf unless you and Kim are into some real kinky shit.)
Jarred deflated, put off by her comment, (Whatever, Kim decided to visit family while we were away and isn't back yet.)
(We'll have a meeting this weekend, everyone deserves a bit of a break. I'll deal with the new wolves then,) said Dean, heading for the border dogs. It has been a while since he last played with Chipper.
(Alright, I'll let them know,) said Sam.
(I'm going to see my mom, see ya later,) said Leah.
...
While they were gone, it turned out that a guilty feeling Sue spilled the beans to Charlie about everything going on, not wishing to lie to her significant other,
He was thoroughly shocked when she told Seth to show him proof, and angry when he realized what had happened to his daughter. It took him a few days to forgive Sue for not warning him sooner, though he came around knowing she was in a difficult position and that ultimately his daughter should have told him.
However, he did want to speak with the council and their leader, Dean, who was less than interested in consoling an angry/grieving father, who learned his daughter ran away to become an evil vampire or deal with his human cop problems.
....
When the weekend rolled around, Dean was ready to start his plan.
(Listen up. While I'm happy to have more wolves in our pack and am eager to train ya'll up and get you ready to be out there, you'll have to be patient as our veterans are sent out to start our sweeps. I'll personally be taking care of Seattle. Training will begin in between raids or later, when one or more of us can be free to stay behind. Kim will draw up schedules for patrol times and other important information. Any questions?) asked Dean.
After telling the new wolves what to expect and planning with the vets, Dean took Leah home to pack.
"What are we doing?" Leah asked, wondering if she heard right.
"I'm taking you to Seattle with me for a date. I booked reservations and everything after we took care of the Newborns. I figured it would be the best time to take you out for a romantic day in the city, a change of scenery from our usual woods, beaches, rivers, and lakes," said Dean.
"I don't know," said Leah, less than enthused. She very much liked their woods, beaches, rivers, and lakes. The city was less than appealing to her.
Dean grinned knowingly, "That's why I love you, you love the outdoors as much as I do, but that doesn't mean I don't want a bit of variety, and I always wanted to take you to a fancy restaurant, dance, and hotel," he said moving his eyebrows suggestively.
She laughed, pushing him playfully, "I bet you would... Alright, Mom and I did get a nice dress for my graduating school dance that we never went to, might as well break it out now."
Seeing Leah pulling out a backpack and pausing to consider how she was going to get the dress in it without ruining it, Dean stepped in.
"Don't do that. We aren't going as wolves. We'll use actual luggage; I've borrowed a car and everything. This will be an all-normal date, just like in the movies," said Dean.
"Like the movies, huh? We don't have luggage though," said Leah.
"Right, knew I forgot something, wait right here," said Dean.
A few minutes later, he had luggage ready for them to use.
"Okay, the car is right over there," said Dean, pointing.
"Do you even know how to drive?" asked Leah worriedly.
"I dabbled a bit, it'll be fine, my reflexes and control are more than capable of seeing us safely there," said Dean.
Leah sighed, "I'll drive, there's this thing called traffic laws that I'm sure you've heard of."
"Fine, ruin my fun," Dean pouted, having looked forward to putting the pedal to the metal.
"Next time dear, preferably when I'm not around," said Leah, putting her luggage in the back seat. She wasn't about to put her regeneration to the test in these death traps. She much prefers running on her own four legs nowadays.
He guided her from the passenger seat to their destination, a very nice hotel that must have cost a pretty penny.
Happy to find no fresh vampire scents nearby, they went to their room.
"Don't you think you spent a bit much on this? How much money do you even have left?" she asked upon entering their private suite.
"I thought I'd splurge a little. Consider this our real honeymoon, though it'll only be for a day or so. Can't be counting staying at home as a honeymoon after all," said Dean, taking in the decor.
"Is that why you're doing this? I was more than fine with how we spent our honeymoon; you didn't need to do this," said Leah, testing the bed.
"Look, stop overthinking it. We're here to have fun, so let's have fun," he said, sitting on the bed.
"You're right, let's have fun," she smiled, sitting in his lap. His hands cupped her butt as she draped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
"As nice as this is, you'll need to get dressed for tonight, I'm taking you out, and then later there'll be a bit of dancing, and then we'll come back here to finish it," he said, breaking the kiss.
"Okay," she said, hopping off and going to the bathroom with her luggage, "I'll go get ready. Don't look. I want it to be a surprise."
"Fine," said Dean, looking for the remote.
A good amount of time later, Leah came out all dressed up and gave him a pose, wearing a very revealing low-cut dress that hugged her curves in a way that left little to the imagination.
"Damn Leah, you said nice, not sexy as hell, good thing I'm strong enough to beat the men off you," said Dean, shutting off the tv to check her out.
"What can I say, I wanted to leave the school with a bang," Leah beamed.
"Yeah, I'd definitely bang you before we left," chuckled Dean, with Leah.
"Are you not dressing up?" She frowned.
"Oh, right. Don't worry. It'll only take me a few minutes compared to you," he chuckled.
And a few minutes later, he was in his wedding tux, not that she minded, eyeballing the hell out of him.
"Looking sharp as ever, so where are we off to?" she asked.
"Right this way my lady, we'll take a taxi," he said, holding out his arm.
Both had people's heads turning as they passed through the lobby, her more so thanks to the dress.
Calling a taxi, he gave the man the address, and they were off.
