It was dinner time at the Wallace mansion, and Xander was present because his mother had invited him. She had been yearning to see him again after the day Anastasia had been kidnapped.
"Do you want more food?" Mrs Wallace asked, sitting up and ready to serve Xander more when she noticed he barely touched his food. Without waiting for his reply, she immediately started dishing more food into his place before he could stop her. "Eat, eat. I made your favorite dish today so you have to finish them all."
Xavier was at the other side, eating silently with Anastasia beside him. Neither bothered to look up from their plate which caused Xander to feel a little awkward.
Kace was seated beside Richard who was just as quiet as them, his eyes darting to look at the opposite side where Xavier and Anastasia were seated, wondering what could have happened. No one bothered to tell him anything, including his very own mother.
