"Have you been able to hear from them?" Mr Wallace asked one of the henchmen that was still with him and Bruce. He was half naked with a bandage wrapped around his arms where Xander had shot him during their encounter.
The henchman stood still, unable to say a word.
"Didn't you hear me or are you playing deaf?!" He bellowed and the hooligan flinched before he parted his lips to speak.
"We haven't heard much about them, but I was able to contact my friend who's a guard at the baby factory, and…" He stalled, and Mr Wallace glared daggers at him. "He said that Xavier and that other woman were there," he finally managed to finish.
Since the attack, Mr Wallace had always been on edge, as if there was this type of anger that was brewing from inside of him, waiting to eat someone alive. He'd always been a ticking time bomb and the others had to be careful before they spoke to him.
