Scrimgeour exclaimed.
He had obviously not expected that not only did the Deathly Hallows from the fairy tale exist, but that Dumbledore actually had one of them, the Elder Wand, in his possession.
If someone else had told him this secret, Scrimgeour would have dismissed it as an absurd fantasy. But when it came from Andy, Scrimgeour felt compelled to take it seriously.
This is the power of identity, status, and reputation.
Although Andy is young, he is very powerful.
More importantly, Andy had killed people before without any qualms.
Scrimgeour could not treat Andy as an ordinary wizard.
"What secrets do the Deathly Hallows hold?"
Scrimgeour asked in a deep voice. "The legend mentions that whoever gathers the three Deathly Hallows will become the master of death."
