Chapter 702 - Chapter 702: Hatred is spreading over Hogwarts

"The Deathly Hallows!?"

Scrimgeour exclaimed.

He had obviously not expected that not only did the Deathly Hallows from the fairy tale exist, but that Dumbledore actually had one of them, the Elder Wand, in his possession.

If someone else had told him this secret, Scrimgeour would have dismissed it as an absurd fantasy. But when it came from Andy, Scrimgeour felt compelled to take it seriously.

This is the power of identity, status, and reputation.

Although Andy is young, he is very powerful.

More importantly, Andy had killed people before without any qualms.

Scrimgeour could not treat Andy as an ordinary wizard.

"What secrets do the Deathly Hallows hold?"

Scrimgeour asked in a deep voice. "The legend mentions that whoever gathers the three Deathly Hallows will become the master of death."

"Dumbledore? Could it be…?"

Andy smiled and shrugged, "Who knows."

Scrimgeour's face turned a little gloomy.

If Dumbledore's wand is the legendary Elder Wand, then Dumbledore's goal is obvious.

He wants to become the master of death!

Could it be...the missing item from the Gringotts vault is one of the Deathly Hallows?

Scrimgeour racked his brains.

It was not impossible!

Dumbledore and Grindelwald had searched for the Deathly Hallows, and Andy knew the secret of the Deathly Hallows. Then...Voldemort might also know about its existence and had even secretly searched for it.

"What else do you know?" Scrimgeour asked.

"That's all."

Andy said, shrugging his shoulders. "Dumbledore never told me about it; this is something I just overheard by accident."

Scrimgeour obviously didn't believe this.

But since Andy didn't want to talk about it, Scrimgeour didn't have much choice.

"It's getting late..."

After a moment of silence, Scrimgeour got up and said, "Let's end it here for today. If you have any news in the future, you can leave it here."

After saying this, Scrimgeour wrote down an address in his notebook, tore the page off, and handed it to Andy.

Andy took the note, glanced at it, and asked, "Will your messages also be placed here?"

Scrimgeour paused for a moment, then said with a smile, "Of course!"

"That's good." After saying that, Andy flicked his finger, and the note immediately turned to ashes and dissipated into the air.

"The Ministry has a lot of things to do; I'll go first," Scrimgeour said.

"Goodbye." Andy smiled.

After Scrimgeour left, Andy sat on the sofa and carefully went over his conversation with Scrimgeour.

He had to admit that public opinion could be very useful.

Scrimgeour had obviously been influenced by the rumours, and coupled with Dumbledore's concealment of the information about the Horcrux, this had led to some unclear interpretations.

As for why Scrimgeour had come to see him...

Andy was not surprised.

As the saying goes, when the flowers bloom, the butterflies will come.

Andy's strength is there for all to see, so if Scrimgeour wants to deal with Dumbledore, naturally he will need Andy's help.

Without Andy, Scrimgeour, even if he teams up with the Aurors, will not be enough to defeat even just Dumbledore.

Not to mention the people of Order behind him.

"Hmm..."

Andy pondered for a while, wondering if he had made any slip-ups. Although the final revelation of the Deathly Hallows might have come across as a bit abrupt, the news would certainly be shocking enough.

Whether Scrimgeour believed it or not, he would definitely be compelled to investigate the matter.

Even if Scrimgeour thought that Andy was leading him on, he would still have to investigate the matter.

After all, the Deathly Hallows held such significance.

'That should do the trick,' Andy smiled inwardly.

As for the cooperation with Scrimgeour.

To be honest, neither Andy nor Scrimgeour took the matter seriously.

Exchange information?

Don't make him laugh!

At most, they would try to use each other.

"Uhh..."

Standing up, stretching, and moving his body a little, Andy slowly walked out of the office.

***

Scrimgeour's matter was quickly forgotten by Andy. For Andy, the most important thing was still learning.

Only by constantly acquiring knowledge can Andy stand at the very top of the wizarding world.

Today there are no classes.

Andy spends his time as usual in the library reading.

Meanwhile, the news of widespread arrests of Death Eaters quickly spreads through Hogwarts.

The news is very uplifting.

After the defeat in the Battle of Diagon Alley, the Ministry of Magic quickly responded with a strong counterattack, which rekindled the hopes and confidence of the wizarding population in the fight against Voldemort.

Of course, they were also worried about Voldemort's retaliation.

However, the newspapers did mention that Dumbledore had returned. This morning, Dumbledore was seen at Hogwarts.

This cheered many people.

Although public opinion was somewhat unfavourable towards Dumbledore, it had to be said that Dumbledore's presence did give people confidence.

Of course, not everyone was cheering this victory.

As everyone knows, a smile never disappears; it just moves from one person's face to another.

A few days ago, the Slytherins were celebrating Voldemort's triumph.

Today, a few days later, the other three houses are celebrating the Ministry of Magic's success.

The situation has reversed.

Because of this, the atmosphere at Hogwarts has become extremely tense.

Because it is not just a matter of victory and defeat.

It is...

"Hatred!"

With a grave face, Hermione, who was sitting opposite Andy, said, "Andy, hatred is spreading across Hogwarts!"

"The Death Eaters killed many people's relatives and friends."

"Many Death Eaters died in the battle yesterday, and they were relatives and friends of those in Slytherin."

"...and some people have lost their parents."

After a pause, Hermione continued with a worried expression, "Andy, I don't feel sympathy for them. It's just that... those Slytherins aren't very broad-minded. They think that the relatives of other people killed their loved ones."

"Of course, people from other houses think the same thing."

"I just checked."

"There are professors keeping watch in the Great Hall, outside the castle, and on the Quidditch pitch. They're obviously worried that something terrible might happen."

There was no doubt that the Death Eaters had suffered heavy losses last night.

Andy alone had killed many people.

When the Aurors arrested the Death Eaters, some of them inevitably took the opportunity to kill one or two people to settle personal grievances.

Those who survived were imprisoned.

They will face justice and a free lifetime residence in Azkaban.

The wizarding world is actually a very close-knit community.

These young wizards at Hogwarts have parents who are shopkeepers, Aurors and Death Eaters.

They killed each other!

"That's the chain of hatred,"

Andy sighed. "Don't worry. Just let them cool off for a while. With the professors watching, they won't be able to fight."

Hermione said with a worried look, "Now I finally understand why Gryffindor and Slytherin are always at each other's throats."

"The hatred has carried over from the last wizard war."
