Serafina smirked. "Then hold on tight."
With that, her wings beat down with incredible force, and suddenly, everything blurred. The sky around them twisted, streaks of light forming as their surroundings bent and warped. The world itself seemed to vanish as Serafina pushed forward, breaking through speed barriers in mere seconds.
Then, in an instant, the sky shattered.
A massive, dark rift tore open before them, crackling with ominous energy. The air turned heavy, filled with an unnatural heat. On the other side of the rift, fire and darkness swirled together in a chaotic storm—the entrance to the Underworld.
Serafina let out a mighty roar as she surged forward, plunging straight into the abyss.
And then, everything went black.
