"Then what should we do now?" Ryu asked.
"Well, we've already taken the Core… I think we should rest for a moment before we continue," Alex replied, then turned to Akiko.
Akiko stroked her chin in thought. "You guys want to go to a festival?"
"Eh!? There's a festival!?" Ryu exclaimed, his eyes widening. He knew that if there was a festival, it would be similar to those in Japan, since the Land of the Rising Sun was practically a replica of it.
Akiko smirked at Ryu's reaction. "Yes, there's a festival happening in the capital tonight. It's one of our biggest celebrations of the year. Lanterns, food stalls, performances… and even a tournament for warriors to test their strength."
"A tournament!?" Ryu's excitement skyrocketed. "Oh, man, this is gonna be amazing! Alex, we gotta enter!"
Alex chuckled. "We'll see. Right now, I think we could all use a change of pace."
