"That's absolutely true. My husband, Shane Collens, killed his own grandfather, Albert Collens—the Old Master of Collens Industries. He did it in cold blood, by cutting off his head and detaching it from his body," she said, her eyes flashing toward the camera pointing directly at her face, as her lips curled up on one side in a barely noticeable smirk.
The crowd gasped at her admission as their cameras flickered tirelessly, flooding the place with blinding light.
"Next question, Mrs. Collens: has it been verified that the young master of the Collens is mad?" the reporter asked.
Sophie sighed loudly into the microphone, fully embracing her white lotus act.
"It has been proven many times that Shane is mad, but the Old Master always found ways to cover it up. But you see, karma is real—and now Shane has killed the one person who always protected him," Sophie said, as the reporter quickly jotted it down in her notebook.
