Chapter 348 - Chapter 345 : Special Training!!

Lu Mingfei's movements were so fast that by the time the sword tip was pressed between Caesar's brows, Chen Motong and Guderian only reacted.

"Lu Mingfei! Calm down, don't do anything reckless!" Guderian was terrified, his soul almost flying out. He was afraid that Lu Mingfei, in a moment of rashness, would stab a hole through the heir of the Gattuso family's head.

If that happened, he feared the school board might swallow him whole.

Even Chen Motong, who usually loved chaos, was scared by Lu Mingfei.

But then, the girl leaned against the door frame with an amused expression, her delicate eyes curving like a crescent moon, examining the boy as though she'd found a new toy.

"This is getting more interesting. The file said you're timid, introverted, and cowardly." Caesar remained unfazed, showing all the grace expected of a noble, his expression calm, as if even if his head were to be chopped off the next second, he would still appear poised. He spoke lightly: "I'm curious, is this all just a disguise?"

After saying that, he stared directly into Lu Mingfei's eyes, as if trying to find something there.

"I find it hard to explain this to you."

Lu Mingfei sighed, his words tinged with helplessness. "They say boys grow overnight, maybe this is what they mean."

"Well, your growth has been quite the leap." Guderian, standing by, couldn't help but twitch his eye and mutter.

Just recently, he was a quiet student, a bit shy and timid, but now, he had become so bold, decisive, and ruthless. The moment he sensed Caesar's Word Soul activated, he easily countered it.

From any angle, this didn't seem like 'growth'—it seemed more like a 'new person' entirely!

But despite the complaints, Guderian relaxed, seeing that Caesar was likely safe, and his old bones had been spared.

Lu Mingfei slowly lowered his hand and walked back to sit in the chair, crossing his legs and placing his hands on them.

Calmly, he said, "Professor Guderian, Caesar-san, please forgive my actions earlier. After all, I just wanted to prove that I mean no harm."

Through his earlier actions, he had proven one thing.

If he truly harbored malice, he could have taken their lives with a snap of his fingers.

Caesar raised his hand, rubbing his slightly aching brow. His mind replayed the quick and precise actions of Lu Mingfei just now. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

"You're pretty strong. After you join Cassell College, you might want to consider joining our 'Student Council.' You know about it, right?"

"Mm, the Student Council and the Lionheart Club."

Having already seen the script, Lu Mingfei naturally knew about Cassell College's two major student organizations. He politely declined. "Sorry, but I'm not planning to join any organizations for now."

"It's okay, people change," Caesar said, crossing his legs, clearly more interested in Lu Mingfei. His eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. "There's a long road ahead. As a representative of the Student Council, I'll always keep the door open for you. After I graduate, I'll even recommend you for the president of the Student Council."

"No thanks. I'm pretty laid-back and not into being president," Lu Mingfei waved his hand tiredly, rejecting the offer.

"Hey, wait, Caesar!"

At this point, Gudrian, who had been left out, finally understood what was happening. He pushed up his glasses and spoke loudly, "I haven't even said anything yet, and you're already discussing inviting him to join the Student Council?"

Caesar shrugged. "Professor Gudrian, it's already gotten this far, are we really not going to accept him?"

"Right, Professor." Chen Motong, leaning against the door, chuckled lightly. "The principal sent us here for him, right? The rumored S-Rank bloodline... it's certainly no exaggeration."

In fact, this recruitment drive by Cassell was purely for Lu Mingfei.

After all, Principal Hilbert had personally confirmed that Lu Mingfei was an S-Rank hybrid, destined to become the leader of the Dragon-slayer faction, just like Menek Cassell a century ago!

Gudrian paused for a moment before looking at Lu Mingfei. "I won't ask where you got your information about Cassell. As for whether we admit you, I need to check with the principal again. So, for now, you can head back. Is that okay?"

What should have been a simple matter quickly spiraled out of control due to Lu Mingfei's actions.

Whether it was the strength Lu Mingfei had displayed, his knowledge of Cassell, or his change in personality, everything made Gudrian uneasy.

"Alright, fine. Guess I made a wasted trip," Lu Mingfei sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Since that's the case, I'll head back and catch up on sleep. I'll wait for your notification."

"I'll get back to you in three days at the latest," Gudrian replied.

Lu Mingfei waved his hand casually, then stood up and left the room.

As he passed by Chen Motong, he acted calm, as if he never cared much about this bright girl from the beginning.

Once he was far enough, Gudrian cleared his throat twice and said, "Nono, contact Norma and tell her to report the situation here to the principal."

"Sure thing, no problem~"

Chen Motong moved gracefully, like a breeze filled with fragrance.

"Hehe, big brother, your goddess just looked at you with new eyes~"

Little Devil lived up to his nickname, watching with amusement and casting a playful glance at Lu Mingfei. "I support you, steal her away from Caesar!"

"Lu Mingze, stop making things worse, okay?"

Lu Mingfei lowered his eyelids, completely speechless toward this little troublemaker. "I don't have those worldly desires right now."

"Big brother, Mr. Adam's special training for you, is it in Shaolin Temple?" Lu Mingze fell into thought, looking at Lu Mingfei with suspicion.

"You know, even though I never liked your old 'puppy dog' attitude, I don't want you to become a monk."

"A monk, huh, now that you mention it..."

Lu Mingfei paused for a second, a trace of nostalgia in his eyes. "I suddenly kind of miss those bald heads at Xianfeng Temple."

"Xianfeng Temple?"

Lu Mingze tilted his head and blinked in confusion. "I've never heard of it, is there really a temple called Xianfeng? Also, why do you miss them?"

"Don't ask, the memories are attacking me," Lu Mingfei said in pain, covering his face as his pupils trembled.

"I never want to go through 'special training' again in my life. It was terrifying—facing a bunch of lunatics every day and experiencing all kinds of horrible ways to die. There was no place to run!"

"Sounds pretty scary," Lu Mingze commented.

Lu Mingze's lips twitched slightly as he looked at Lu Mingfei. It seemed like he was recalling something very painful.

"Can you understand the pain of being killed over a thousand times by someone?" Lu Mingfei clutched his head, his expression twisted in agony. "That guy, Issei Iwami, is just terrifying!"

He was known as the Sword Saint, but suddenly, he pulled out a firearm from his pants, saying something like "Hesitation leads to defeat," and then he shot with perfect accuracy, aiming for the head.

Sometimes, he would swing a long spear and send Lu Mingfei flying several meters, or unleash a sword attack that stretched for meters.

It was like being slaughtered over and over again, like a pig. He was killed in countless ways, over a thousand times!

A thousand times… He was on the edge of breaking down, wanting to escape that nightmare-like Iwami City at any cost.

But no matter what, he was always forced back, facing one undying monster after another.

After losing his dragon bloodline, Lu Mingfei could only grow stronger through endless battles, slowly improving his skills. Eventually, he defeated Issei Iwami and returned to the real world.

One must admit, the special training Adam designed for him was incredibly effective.

After experiencing thousands of deaths, Lu Mingfei was no longer insecure. It was like being reborn, completely transformed.

In that world, Lu Mingfei had another name, the one who walked the path of the Asura: the Lone Wolf!

Adam's special training—everyone who's tried it says it's amazing!
