Chapter 347 - Chapter 344 : Is this Lu Mingfei??

Zhao Menghua was so scared that he wet his pants, and the stench filled the air.

Meanwhile, the people outside the meeting room went completely silent, staring at Lu Mingfei, who seemed like a killing god, as if the temperature around them dropped several degrees.

Lu Mingfei frowned slightly, looking at Zhao Menghua, who had turned into a fool from fear, with disdain. He let go of his hand and turned back toward his seat.

Chen Wenwen, feeling the coldness in his gaze, immediately crossed her legs and stammered, "S-sorry... I was wrong."

"Wow~ Brother, that was so awesome!" No one could see Lu Mingze, but he clapped and cheered, looking at Lu Mingfei like he was an alien. He sized him up, "I'm so curious now—what kind of training did Mr. Adam give you? You turned that timid brother into someone so intimidating!"

"Let's talk about it later."

Lu Mingfei twitched his lips, and just thinking about the 'special training' made him shiver.

At that moment, the meeting room door opened. A young girl with dark red hair tied in a high ponytail walked out. She had a tall, bright figure, wearing a white tank top, slim-fitting, washed jeans, and high-top canvas shoes.

Silver four-leaf clover earrings hung from her delicate earlobes, and she was staring at them with interest.

"Ex-examiner, I want to report something!"

Chen Wenwen immediately stood up, looking like she had found her savior. Her voice mixed fear with cowardice as she pointed at Lu Mingfei, who seemed to be unaffected, "He, he tried to kill us just now!"

"Oh, really?"

The girl's eyes sparkled with amusement, as if she had found a new toy. Her gaze locked onto Lu Mingfei, "Is that true, student?"

"It's true! I... I can testify!" Zhao Menghua, recovering from his shock, pointed at Lu Mingfei with fear, screaming, "He really tried to kill me!"

"Annoying."

Lu Mingze narrowed his eyes, his pale gold pupils showing a hint of cruelty. "Hey, brother, do you want me to take care of them for you? I'll make it quiet, no one will suspect you."

Lu Mingfei shook his head, rejecting the little devil's suggestion.

Strangely, after hearing the suggestion to "kill," he felt very calm inside, with no sense of reluctance or pity—he simply felt it was unnecessary.

"Yeah, it's true."

He sat in the chair, his expression calm and indifferent, nodding slightly as if answering the tall girl's question.

"He admitted it! He admitted it!" Zhao Menghua screamed loudly.

The tall girl furrowed her brows, glancing at Zhao Menghua, who had wet himself in fear, then turned back to the conference room and said, "Professor, what should we do now? Lu Mingfei seems dangerous."

"Let him in," a deep voice from inside said. "As for the others, they can leave. This interview is over."

"What?!"

Su Xiaoqian, Liu Miaomiao, Zhao Menghua, and Chen Wenwen were all stunned.

"That's how it is. Everyone, please leave for now," Chen Motong (Nono) said lightly. "The interview is over. As for you, Lu Mingfei, please come in."

"But, but why?!" Chen Wenwen's eyes widened. She didn't understand why the troublemaker wasn't being dealt with and was instead invited in.

"Well, if I had to say, maybe it's because we appreciate people with courage?" Nono tilted her head and chuckled. "So, please go back, everyone."

"Crazy!"

Su Xiaoqian felt played, stood up angrily, and left without looking back.

Liu Miaomiao followed behind, while Zhao Menghua and Chen Wenwen stared in disbelief but dared not cause more trouble. They quietly shrank back, cautiously walking along the wall, afraid Lu Mingfei would act again.

"Really, you messed up the whole 'interview' process," Nono glanced at the boy reproachfully, her tone showing a hint of dissatisfaction.

Lu Mingfei remained expressionless, walking straight past her and into the conference room.

Once inside, the conference room was empty and spacious, with a large table that could seat dozens of people, but only two people were sitting there.

One was a handsome young man with golden hair, and the other was an elderly man.

"Hello, Lu Mingfei."

The elderly man stared at him for a moment before speaking. "I am Professor Guderian from Cassell College, responsible for this interview."

Although he was officially a professor, he certainly didn't look the part.

At least, Lu Mingfei couldn't see how this elderly man, with a broad frame, glasses as thick as a beer bottle bottom, white messy hair, a dirty and disheveled suit, and oversized pants, resembled a knowledgeable university professor. He looked more like a homeless man on the street.

"I am Caesar Gattuso."

A young man with blonde hair, his gaze sharp and full of authority, like a noble king, scrutinized Lu Mingfei as he entered.

The young man was handsome, with short black hair, bangs just above his forehead. He had a slightly frail and thin build, and his eyes revealed a kind of sorrow, as if he existed outside of the world. He seemed surrounded by an unexplainable atmosphere.

Based on the gathered information, Guderian expected Lu Mingfei to be a bit nervous, perhaps even uneasy.

But instead, the boy walked right in, sat down with a yawn, looking like he hadn't fully woken up, and said, "No need for formalities, let's save some time. I'm willing to join Cassell College."

Guderian's prepared speech was left unused, as it was immediately interrupted.

He adjusted his glasses, staring at Lu Mingfei for half a minute before asking, "Wait, do you even know what Cassell College does?"

"Of course I know. You guys slay dragons, right?"

Lu Mingfei casually crossed his legs, arms crossed over his chest, and replied in a nonchalant tone, "Is there any other question? If not, could you hurry up? I'd like to finish and get some rest."

This time, not just Guderian, but even Caesar and Chen Motong were stunned.

All the prep work, the documents, and the speeches they had prepared were now thrown into disarray because the boy in front of them wasn't playing by any of the usual rules.

"How did you know about that?!" Guderian was shocked, his pupils suddenly shrinking.

"This kind of thing doesn't matter."

Lu Mingfei looked helpless, sighing, "Don't worry about who told me. I'm really tired right now. Can you please hurry up?"

After nearly half a month of non-stop torture, it finally ended. He wished he could sleep until the world turned dark. He had no energy to go around in circles, playing little games with them anymore.

"Sorry, but I need to know. Where exactly did you hear about Cassel?" Guderian's eyes turned sharp. Lu Mingfei's behavior was too dangerous.

For an unstable factor, even the principal's orders had to be carefully considered!

"What if I refuse?"

Lu Mingfei sat in his chair, hands crossed over his lap, his gaze calm as he spoke.

"Caesar!"

Guderian spoke in a low tone.

Caesar narrowed his eyes, subtly releasing his scythe wind. The wind spirits moved through the air, turning into invisible blades, targeting the young man in front of him.

"I suggest you behave. If you don't want to suffer, just honestly tell me who gave you the information about Cassell College."

Lu Mingfei's eyes were indifferent, staring at Caesar and Guderian. He calmly said, "I refuse."

"Looks like you'll need a little pain before you're willing to talk, huh?"

Caesar's eyes turned cold. In the large meeting room, wind blades howled as they cut through the air, aimed at the boy.

The target wasn't vital, and the wounds wouldn't be severe. It was just meant to make Lu Mingfei suffer a little and force him to give in and tell them who had told him about Cassell College.

However, just as the invisible wind blade cut through the air, about to strike Lu Mingfei, his gaze slightly shifted, and in the blink of an eye, he vanished from the chair he had been sitting on, appearing in front of Caesar in an instant, accompanied by a thunderous explosion.

Lu Mingfei's fingers came together, like a drawn sword, swift and sharp, striking with extreme ferocity!

By the time Caesar reacted, Lu Mingfei's fingers were hovering at his brow, and the intense, sharp aura gathered at his fingertips made him feel as though his skull might be pierced.

"Don't be in such a hurry, senior."

Lu Mingfei retracted his hand calmly and said, "I'm not fond of violence, so now... can we have a proper conversation?"

No one could keep up with his movements.

From the perspective of an onlooker, everything happened so quickly, too fast to even see with the naked eye.

Even Chen Motong was stunned, staring at the cold and indifferent young man, who radiated a terrifying murderous aura.

For the first time in his life, he doubted whether the information from Norma was even true.

This guy... Is he really Lu Mingfei? Did they switch him out halfway?
