Chapter 175 - Chapter 173 - The dungeons are everywhere.

[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]

Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

"Help me!!" A woman screamed in the middle of the corridor, while the students who were about to enter the Gryffindor common room were stunned by the Fat Lady's outburst.

"Something wrong?!" A seventh-year student asked, raising an eyebrow, wondering if the Fat Lady was trying to pull another one of her pranks, as she often did.

"He went inside me!!!" She shouted, making the four students standing in front of her drop their jaws. What kind of statement was that?

"What do you mean by that..." A female student murmured, blushing as her mind raced with possibilities, while the Fat Lady looked at her, desperate for help.

"He entered... he just came and barged in with everything he had, I didn't even give him permission to enter me!!!" She cried out, almost on the verge of tears, but at the same time, embarrassed.

"..." All four students stood there speechless, while more and more students gathered around, drawn by the commotion at Gryffindor's entrance.

"He just came up here and didn't even say anything! While I tried to push him away, I told him he wasn't a Gryffindor student, but he just looked at me with those fierce and seductive eyes, staring at me as if I were his prey! Maybe if I were younger, thinner, and not just a materialized form in a painting, I might have even accepted it... But he just jumped on me! So wild!!"

She couldn't even finish her sentence, exclaiming with her hands on her cheeks, embarrassed, though she seemed more amused recounting the situation than truly distressed.

"What's going on here?" A student asked, as more people started gathering, forming a small crowd of Gryffindors.

"The Fat Lady has lost it! She's saying someone went inside her, but she's making it sound more... suggestive than anything else," a student murmured, flustered.

Among the students listening to the commotion were Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew.

"Someone entered Gryffindor?" Black murmured immediately, furious.

"I don't think that's it... She's saying someone entered her... her painting." A seventh-year student tried to explain.

"This sounds bizarre... She's lying, isn't she?" Another student commented, suspicious.

"Hey, Fat Lady, let us in!" A student impatiently demanded.

"Oh! What do I do now, how do I get him out of there?" She simply ignored the growing crowd in front of her, who were desperate to enter the Gryffindor common room.

"Someone call the Headmaster! Or a professor!" Another student suggested.

And then, as they spoke, suddenly, the space within the painting distorted. Everyone stared in shock as a figure began to emerge, slowly materializing before them.

Snape was looking at his own hand, as if pleased with his strength, opening and closing his fist.

He was truly satisfied with conquering that dungeon. He had secured a powerful wizard to aid him and was about to teleport again to the Room of Requirement, growing even stronger. He was still distributing the newly acquired stat points after leaving the dungeon, so he hadn't really paid attention to what came next—perhaps that was what had left him exposed to the growing crowd now staring at him. Only then did he realize he was standing in front of several Gryffindor students.

Most of his chest area was burned, exposing his skin due to the flames. Additionally, he couldn't entirely avoid the damage from his own lightning attack, as it was an extremely risky move—he had been at the very center where the bolts struck, and the speed of lightning was no joke.

The students stood there, staring at him in shock, while Snape glared back, narrowing his eyes. Only two seconds passed before the Fat Lady exploded behind him.

"It was him who went inside me!" she shrieked, pointing at Snape. "I know he's an attractive man, but he cannot force a lady into certain things! How could he behave this way toward a helpless woman like me?" She began to dramatize, playing the victim, leaving the students even more bewildered.

Sirius Black looked at her in disbelief before turning his attention back to Snape. "Snape, I should have known you were involved in this! He was trying to get into Slytherin!" he said angrily.

A seventh-year student took a step forward, hesitant. Despite being cautious due to Snape's reputation at school—after all, no one dared to mess with him anymore, whether in Slytherin or Gryffindor—he still spoke, trying to maintain a firm posture.

"I know you're a bully... But you can't just come to Gryffindor! You're from Slytherin!" the student accused.

"I wasn't inside your common room as you are imagining. I simply went to a place you wouldn't understand." Snape mocked, giving that response.

The student seemed frustrated, but he didn't even get the chance to reply, as Snape simply shrugged and disappeared. There was no reason for him to explain things to those students, so he simply left, using a shadow teleport.

"Was that Severus Snape? He's so hot..." still standing where Snape had been, a Gryffindor girl murmured, recalling Snape's shirtless, well-built appearance.

"What?! How can you talk about an enemy like that?" Sirius Black exclaimed at the girl, outraged.

"What? He's handsome, am I not allowed to say that now?" The girl shrugged, unfazed.

"I know he hangs out with that Clarisse Greengrass, and there are also rumors about him and the History of Magic professor..." Another seventh-year girl murmured before turning to one of the other girls, the redhead.

"Lily... you and he were close and left together after Professor Slughorn's last party... Are you dating?" The girl asked, looking at Lily with attentive eyes, while the redhead looked both surprised and uncomfortable with the question.

"No..." She finally replied, lowering her head, the love potion making her chest feel tight.

Meanwhile, Snape was testing the shaman he had resurrected. Within hours, Severus began assigning more complex potion-related tasks to his mage, who nodded and started completing everything with ease. Using his wheel of symbols to execute telekinesis and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, he worked effortlessly.

Snape watched, satisfied. He had always had an immense affinity for potions, and in a short time, he saw his new mage adapting—meaning he no longer needed to focus so much on this work since he now had someone who could create high-quality potions.

With Pandora and Clarisse not showing up in the Room of Requirement to train that day, he thought he would have a peaceful day. However, before he could concentrate on brewing more potions, someone entered the room.

To his surprise, it was Rosaria.

"Shall we train?" She asked excitedly, while Snape nodded, also seeing an opportunity to benefit from the fight.

"Keep making potions." Severus ordered his four mages and began to leave, with Rosaria following him.

He took Rosaria to a training area he had created himself, where he trained with her. Rosaria rarely had opportunities to develop her magical abilities and physical strength at the same time.

Snape could provide that for her, while also benefiting from it by testing new tactics. In the end, Rosaria lost—Snape was far more powerful than anyone she had ever seen. Even her father had already been surpassed by Snape.

On Sunday, Snape left the school and went to Black Manor.

The one who greeted him at the entrance was Astraea Black herself.

"Lord Snape, welcome." She murmured, looking at him cautiously.

"Hello, Astraea. How are you?" Snape greeted her.

"Snape, it's good to see you here." She nodded and continued, "Before you see Bellatrix, could you come with me?"

Snape followed her, sensing that she wanted to talk about something important—after all, she never spent much time with him, seemingly afraid. He could even see her intentions in live readings.

They walked to a private room, the place where Astraea had first met Snape. Snape noticed that she always avoided appearing submissive, but there was something in her tone that showed unease this time.

They eventually arrived at the place where Snape had interacted with the Black family portraits for the first time as well. And as expected, they were once again looking at him with disdain.

"We did everything to get rid of this half-blood..." one of the portraits murmured, irritated.

"It's true! Why bring this half-blood here? This is an offense against us and our descendants!" another portrait exclaimed with disdain.

The other portraits agreed, casting reproachful looks at Snape.

Astraea was about to restore order to the situation, but she didn't even get the chance, as what happened next took her completely by surprise.

Snape looked at the two portraits that had spoken and raised his hand as if grasping something in the air. Using his Monarch's Touch ability, the two paintings that were about to insult him began to rise, making everyone around him gasp in shock. Even Astraea was stunned to see Snape doing that without a wand.

In the next instant, he clenched his fist tightly, and the two portraits started to shatter. The glass cracked completely and then broke, while the paintings themselves were torn apart, falling to the floor in pieces, along with shards of glass and destroyed frames.

Snape watched as the entire room fell into absolute silence, his eyes gleaming as he gazed at the other portraits around him. Then, his eyes settled on a particular painting that depicted a landscape with a painted woman inside.

"I know you're hiding in there."

Upon hearing this, some of the figures in the paintings tried to flee from their own frames, running as far away from that portrait as possible.

Moving deeper into the trees in that painted scene were the two who had insulted him earlier—but now, without their former arrogance, they looked at Snape with fear.

The two ran until they disappeared into the landscape. The woman in the painting, in particular, seemed desperate, especially when Snape raised his hand in her direction.

"Wait! Please don't break my painting!" she pleaded. "This is my home! Sir, I want you to always be welcome in our mansion! Don't be offended by those two idiots!" She turned toward the destroyed portraits, yelling in outrage as they continued to flee.

"Look at what you've done! You provoked that monster who uses some kind of wandless magic! This is unbelievable!"

As expected, the other portraits were in shock. Everyone knew Snape was powerful, but seeing someone use wandless magic with such force was something they had never witnessed before.

"So powerful..." murmured a voice from a corner of the room.

Astraea was still stunned, trying to process what had just happened. However, she quickly recovered when she heard her husband's voice echo through the hall.

"Lord Snape, I apologize for those portraits." She took a deep breath before continuing. "Please, come with me. I want to introduce you to someone important."

Snape looked at her and, without a word, decided against destroying that painting. No one else dared to say anything. His gaze then shifted to a specific portrait—the one Astraea had brought to her personal chambers.

It was the portrait of her late husband.

Snape stared at the painting, and immediately, his eyes widened—not because of the man himself, but because of what his system detected. There was a dungeon inside that portrait.

Without hesitation, he didn't give a damn about anything else and stepped forward, surprising Astraea, who watched him closely, unable to understand what he intended to do. Even the man in the portrait raised an eyebrow, suspicious.

"I've heard a lot about you..." the man began to speak.

However, Snape completely ignored him. His eyes analyzed the painting, and as he sensed the magical power emanating from it, he realized that now, with his increased level, he had new ways to act.

Without a single word, Snape simply accepted the dungeon entry.

Everyone in the room—whether the portraits or the only living human present—remained completely still, unsure of how to react or stop him.

In the next instant, Snape's form distorted before their eyes.

And then, he vanished into the portrait of Astraea's husband.
