Chapter 47 - Chapter 18: Beast for A Beast Final Part

Carciyan was busy with his task too. He looked towards that girl and then started digging with his sword. Within a few minutes, both were halfway through their work.

Tlenion had cleared more than half the beasts from their group and wasn't going down so soon. Before the beasts could reach him, they fell to the ground lifeless and motionless.

Forty-five beasts rushed towards him from 160 meters away. He continuously pulled his string back and killed 33 beasts. Some of them were killed with one arrow, and some took multiple arrows before falling to the ground.

Tlenion moved a few steps back and started to aim at his target. After a few more minutes, he killed all 45 beasts, but he quickly realized something was wrong. He moved a few more steps back and saw two pit marks on the ground, followed by three beasts jumping on him to attack.

Fortunately, he had moved back and was unaffected by the two beasts' attack, but the later three beasts kept pressure on him. He pulled his string, but it was too late. He swung his bow like a weapon and pushed one of the beasts to the ground.

He punched the remaining two beasts with his fist. They moved a few steps back, but before he could recover, the remaining two beasts attacked him. He was too late to dodge that bite, but he looked at his bow, which was still in one of the beast's mouths.

The beast that was pinned by his leg roared in pain and released his weapon. He moved his upper body back and, with his leg, lifted that beast's body in front of him.

He moved several meters away from them and quickly scanned the movement of other beasts that started to gather around him and Carciyan.

He looked towards the beast that was following them; it was quite different from normal beasts. He placed his bow and pulled his string with a full draw.

The energy at the tip of his bow started to gather, and within a few seconds, it was brighter than anything else he had shot so far. The beasts were moving in random patterns, trying to dodge the arrows, and then jumped to attack him.

Tlenion wasn't worried, nor was Carciyan, who was surrounded by beasts but still doing his task. When all four beasts were only a few centimeters away from him, Tlenion's finger released the string.

A thunderous roar filled the area, and at the same time, the area glowed bright bluish for a few nanoseconds but was soon covered in dust particles.

Tlenion pinned one of the beasts, he locked its mouth with his bow, and after inspecting for a second or two, he pulled the string, forcing the beast's brain to explode on the other side.

Within 10 to 15 minutes, all the beasts were killed by his arrows, and the area filled with the sound of his string music. "What is this?"

Carciyan said, moving a few steps back from her and seeing what was hidden beneath the ground where she stood still.

"Tlenion, come here fast!" Carciyan said. Tlenion turned and then resumed his fight. "Just a minute," he said and looked towards the final herd of beasts with 22 remaining.

He launched multiple arrows and then rested for a second and then tried to pull his string back, but his hand was already swollen, and it lacked the strength to do the same.

"Just a few shots," he said, trying to pull his string, and then 4 arrows killed two approaching beasts. "These arrows are…" he said, looking towards the recent arrow he fired while pulling the string of his bow. "These are flickering."

He launched a few more arrows which did very little damage to the beasts' bodies. The beasts didn't slow down but only increased their speed. A light flashed in front of Tlenion. "So I failed my part… haven't I?" Tlenion asked the person standing in front of him.

"None of our tasks are complete yet, so none of us have failed yet, and I still need your help in that, so let me help you first," he said with a dangerous look on his face. His energy exploded in the area. Tlenion's eyes were closing on their own.

As his eyes were closing, he saw something and then quickly opened his eyes, but when he found it wasn't there, he took a breath of relief and saw Carciyan's sword swing and kill the remaining beasts.

After a few minutes, Tlenion had recovered a bit, and then they looked towards her and then towards the ground beneath her, which was filled with a root system. The roots were meters and meters wide, and the scary part was that all were coming out of her blade.

Carciyan tried to pull the roots, but they were trapped far deep in the ground. Before they could really understand the situation, a powerful roar got their attention.

That humongous beast had reached them, and its eyes were locked on them. But when they carefully looked again, they saw its eyes were not locked on them but rather on her.

Next time:

"We are surrou… " " Ru…" " Plea…" " Don't wor… " Tear drops down across her face and then...

" He fight and die. FOR YAVA VISKANS !! "
