Chapter 147 - Helping Hulk and Banner.

MC POV

I opened my eyes and focused on the Hulk in front of me, slowly lifting my body and stretching gently.

I had brought us to the middle of the Sahara Desert.

"To know how I can help you, I first need to check a few things."

I spoke, placing my hand on the center of his forehead.

My mental power gently entered his mind, using Saiki's psychic abilities along with a mental technique taught to me by my divine turtle. Soon, I found myself in another space.

Inside, I saw a water barrier dividing the space into two areas. One side was filled with papers, numbers, and a touch of madness—in its center stood a medium-sized man with the look of a scientist. On the other side, there was a devastated area radiating intense power, and there stood the familiar giant Hulk.

However, what caught my attention the most was a massive source of green energy behind them. It was so dangerous, volatile, and lethal that I was both surprised and scared. The energy appeared to be sending power to multiple places within that dimension.

The first thing I did was release my mental energy, Haki, and divine eyes into the space. I spent several minutes analyzing it, then descended between the two individuals, who were staring at each other with clear hostility.

"Alright. I've already introduced myself to Hulk, but Mr. Banner, this is our first proper meeting and conversation."

"It's a pleasure. So... how exactly can you help us?"

Hearing his question, I could sense strong hope in his eyes—a likely desire for me to somehow free him from his current condition.

Unfortunately, I had to dispel that hope.

"From what I can perceive in this body and mind, there are two souls. One belongs to Hulk, apparently born from gamma energy or something related to it. The other is the original soul—yours, Mr. Banner."

I paused and let the information sink in, at least for Banner.

"Honestly, what I recommend is that you both come to an agreement. Mr. Banner, I understand your fear, but Hulk is not a being of pure destruction and rage. I believe that if you can communicate, you can reach an understanding—or maybe even more than that."

"And you too, Hulk. I know it's hard for you, but I truly believe this could be better for both of you."

I spoke using my soul-tuning voice and infused it with both my mental and soul energy to calm and persuade him.

The effect seemed favorable, though I wasn't sure how much it would help them in the long term. I felt that, as long as they were in enough harmony and agreed, their souls might be able to fuse into a single being. But that was only a theory, and for now, there was nothing more I could do about it.

I gave them a few minutes to think, then told them what I could do to help.

"As for me, I realized that part of your instability is caused by the gamma energy source, which seems to be feeding off the split between your minds, trying to take over your body and turn you into a being of pure destruction. I'll help with that—I'll create a kind of seal and barrier, using some of my abilities, to generate a more stable inner space where you two can communicate and negotiate, while also restricting the massive gamma energy."

"There won't be a huge limit to your strength output, but it will allow for better control and prevent that energy from overwhelming your consciousness."

I looked at the energy again. The more I observed it, the more it resembled a living being. It didn't feel like mere energy—it had a dimensional aspect, much like what I'd seen with sorcerers. If I'm right, it may originate from a unique and extremely powerful dimension. But even that might not fully explain the feeling I was getting from it.

This also showed me that the process would take time—and I'd need to use several of my seals.

Honestly, I'll have to spend a few days, possibly inside the training space, creating more scrolls that combine Naruto's sealing and curse techniques with HP-style sorcery.

"Do you both agree?"

They both nodded, which I expected—what I was about to do wasn't something that would harm them.

I smiled and left the mental space.

Back outside, I summoned several scrolls and controlled them using my wand in my right hand. They opened, revealing their contents—some were purely Naruto-style seals, others were filled with magical symbols and spells, and some were a unique blend of both.

I focused deeply, and my body began radiating two immense auras. A terrifying mental energy surrounded me, cloaked in divine energy, dominance, and destruction.

Then, powerful soul energy erupted. A massive, ghostly black lotus appeared behind me, followed by branches that sprouted more black lotuses.

I focused intensely. My Qi and soul moved, channeling inner and magical energy. My left hand had been forming different seals for a while, while my wand was extracting runes and enchantments from the scrolls.

The fūinjutsu and jūinjutsu began forming a mark on Hulk's head and heart, while the enchantments merged into the markings.

My black lotus opened and enveloped both our bodies.

Then I found myself back in the mental space—but this time, I looked like a divine being.

With my left hand forming seals, a giant gate and red structures—similar to Kurama's seal—appeared, enveloping the mental space and especially the massive green energy core.

These red structures weren't exactly like the ones in the series. They were fused with an ancient dark brown wood that radiated a mystical air. From it, violet-black-purple vines rapidly spread, covered in small black lotuses.

In this sea of minds, a colossal structure formed, covering several areas. Sealing letters and enchantments spread, reinforcing the space.

A massive portal appeared in front of the energy core. Its metallic-wooden center had a huge black lotus embedded in it. The gate slowly began to close.

My energy was draining rapidly—but then, the green energy pulsed and resisted, as if it were alive.

Sensing the resistance, I poured even more of my mental, inner, and soul energy into it. My soul lineage strained itself, and a kind of ghostly body manifested from me, trying to contain the energy.

Huge, powerful black lotuses appeared and quickly began absorbing and restraining the energy.

"Ack!!"

I cried out in pain and effort, my energy being consumed at dangerously high levels—but I finally closed the gate.

As it shut, a locking sound echoed, and the energy tried to lash out, sending a wave of lethal force. If it had hit my body… I might not have survived.

But the gate didn't budge or even scratch. It held firm and steady.

I sighed and looked down.

Both Banner and Hulk stared at me with awe and astonishment.

Looking down at the wall, it now looked more like a built structure—less aggressive, with even a door and window-like features.

Additionally, Hulk seemed noticeably calmer and more stable. There were traces of increased awareness—perhaps even a slight rise in intelligence.

I looked at them both and spoke.

"Now it's up to you. Just to clarify—you're in Africa, far from the U.S., and should be safe for now. But still, stay cautious. Let's return."

I exited the space and returned to the real world. There, I took out a small vine-like rope made from a magical plant beast and attached a small device representing the guardian sword.

I used the rope to make it more resistant to his movements, also enhancing it slightly.

I took a deep breath while doing this. My body was exhausted—physically and spiritually. All my energy reserves were severely drained, the most I had used in a long time.

I saw Hulk reappear and smiled at him.

"Put this necklace on. You might not know how to use it well, but Banner will. It's a way to contact me if you need to."

"Hulk understands. Thanks for helping. Hulk's friend."

I smiled softly at the calmer green giant.

"I'll be on my way. Good luck."

I touched my forehead and spent a bit more of my energy.

"Kai Kai."

As I had appeared, I vanished into the air.

Hulk looked at his new "toy" around his neck but soon lost interest and leapt away, probably in search of food or something to do.

After both of us disappeared, the sand shifted.

A being made of sand appeared—an individual dressed in ancient Egyptian clothing, with the head of a strange jackal-like creature.

He observed the surroundings and sent out waves of sand to erase all traces of energy that had been here.

In his movement, a strong natural, magical, and divine energy could be felt.

If Adrian were here, he would be surprised and intrigued. The divine energy felt different from anything he knew, meaning it likely came from a pantheon unfamiliar to him.

The sand being spoke.

"Divine, magical, and an extremely dangerous energy… like those beings from the underworld and soul dimensions. Perhaps even more dangerous."

"I hope that being doesn't return. He could be a real headache, and I can't let him just wander through my territory. As for that green one…"

He looked into the distance and, after a moment of thought, decided not to interfere with the giant.

Then he disappeared into the sand.

"As long as he doesn't meddle too much with the territory of my pantheons, or with us… it'll be fine."

And the desert returned to silence.

I lay on my bed, removed my divine gear, and let out a breath.

I was exhausted. It took me several days to fully recover. I also plan to rest a bit and prepare a few more things.

But for now, I'll take a look at my missions.

....

Mission: Clash of Gamma Giants and the Two Souls

Objectives:

I) Prevent the giants from destroying the city (avoid killing them if possible).

II) Assist Hulk and Banner in their mental ocean and in handling the powerful gamma energy.

Reward for Objective I: Martian Ship (DC)

Reward for Objective II: Uzumaki Seals, HP Spell Sets, Magical Rune Sets (mixed from Dragon Ball, Runemaster in the Last Days, and other magic worlds)

....

Seeing the second reward made me really satisfied. Though there weren't that many magical runes, it was still enough. I began thinking of ways to deepen my fusion of these different knowledge systems.

But for now, I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Note: The way I described the events here is entirely part of my imagination and fantasy, and not necessarily canonical to the Marvel franchise. I apologize if this offends anyone. :)
