The Spade of Hearts was a card. It wasn't one you'd find in any odd deck of playing cards, though, and its value far exceeded any utility you'd find from any other, even when betting money.
Well, this was true for the Ryduuns at least.
The white card had four large spades posted on all four corners, each with five hearts within them. In the center was a goofy illustration of a clown with a rifle in one hand, a bouquet in the other, and a brilliant smile on his face. As it were, this was actually a fair representation of the purpose of the Spade of Hearts.
First Brother was the one who devised its utility. It was a privilege only the Ryduun children had access to. Each one was allowed only a single Spade of Hearts, and on every non-leap year, they were allowed to use it on any of their siblings to perform any task; this was what the Ryduun siblings called a Ryduun Solid.
