Ratchet was a little happy to find out that even Bee and Twist were put off by D-dee and Ess suddenly making up. He hadn't known D-dee had the capacity to reciprocate affection. Despite Blasting Ess and scoring a two-pointer with him before, now, the two looked like a typical, healthy brother-and-sister combo.
No wonder Bee and Twist looked so jealous. How did Ratchet know? Well, he was seated next to Twist who'd turned into a grumpy muffin. If he continued to frown half as much as he'd been doing over the last few days, Ratchet was worried the boy's skin would turn wrinkly by the time he hit twenty.
After D-dee had folded, the group had commandeered another van which had been parked at the end of the street. It was much larger and comfier than the previous one, with three rows of backseats. T-96 was driving, of course, with D-dee, who was seated with Ess in the frontmost backseat, giving directions towards her humble abode.
