Chapter 442 - Come to me Anytime

Beck, I'm going on a long trip with Blake tomorrow, so I'm asking you to take care of the canteen."

Beck nodded quickly. "You don't have to say please, Miss Nagini! It's Baker's honour to help the masters."

Baker took the box from Nagini and added, "Do you need help packing?"

"Uh, no... I can do it myself."

Baker ran off happily, just because Nagini had said "please."

Nagini turned to Blake, hesitating. "He just said...Masters..."

Blake shrugged. "There's nothing wrong with that. Aren't we always a family?"

"Okay, I'm having breakfast first. I'll see you tomorrow, and then we'll set off together." Blake grabbed a pack of spicy strips from the shelf and headed to the Hufflepuff table.

Nagini suppressed a smile and walked towards her residence.

Unlike his usual sweet breakfast, Blake had a small plate of cookies. He took a few buns from his system warehouse, placed them on the cookies, and made a cup of Gordig root tea. The scent was slightly intoxicating. He took a sip, waiting for the fish to bite.

Just as he sipped his tea and munched on spicy strips, Luna's voice came from behind.

"Blake! Is that Gordig root tea?"

The surrounding students finally learned the name of Blake's odd-smelling tea.

"That's right. Want a cup?" Blake flipped his hand, and a new cup appeared on the table.

"Of course!" Luna happily sat beside him, took a sip, and let out a satisfied sigh. "I haven't had this in a while. I drink it every day at home. My dad must've given it to you. He wrote last night, saying you visited."

Blake took a bite of his biscuit. "Yeah, it smells weird, but I like it."

Luna glanced around, ensuring no one was eavesdropping, then whispered, "My dad said you're going to Sweden to catch the Snorlax?"

"Yep. I know the forest well. I'll find it!" Blake declared confidently.

Luna hesitated, then quietly asked, "Can I go with you?"

Blake pretended to be troubled. "That's not good... Sweden is far. Your father won't agree. And we leave tomorrow."

"He will! He knows how much I love Snorlax! I'll write him now!" Luna gulped her tea and ran off to write the letter.

Blake smirked. That was exactly what he wanted. Mr. Lovegood couldn't go himself, so if Luna wanted to, he wouldn't refuse. Besides, why not take her along to increase favorability and collect some rewards?

After breakfast, Blake went to Dumbledore's office to request leave. Dumbledore agreed easily, knowing Blake wasn't telling the full truth. But refusing would only make Blake sneak off. This way, at least he'd talk to him in the future.

Early the next morning, Blake waited in the Great Hall. When Nagini arrived, she patted her backpack, enchanted with an Undetectable Extension Charm, signaling everything was packed. Blake nodded and handed her a basket of xiaolongbao and soy milk.

Nagini took a bite, her eyes lighting up. Blake's thin-skinned dumplings suited her taste.

Soon, Luna arrived with her own backpack. "How are we traveling? Floo Powder or riding the rich?"

Blake chuckled. "No rush. Let's eat first."

With his Dimensional Gate skill, long-distance travel was easy. But after seeing Luna, he had another idea. Instead of immediately teleporting, he led them into the Forbidden Forest.

"So… how are we starting this trip?" Luna asked curiously.

"Since we're not in a hurry, let's enjoy the journey." Blake blew a sharp whistle.

Moments later, several Thestrals emerged from the forest.

Luna gasped, already knowing the answer. "Are we…?"

Blake smiled. "Would any of you be willing to give us a ride?"

The Thestrals whispered among themselves before three stepped forward.

"Thank you very much." Blake bowed slightly.

The creatures neighed in response.

Blake turned to Nagini and Luna. Nagini was unfazed, having seen his ability to communicate with animals before. But Luna looked amazed.

[Ding! Excitement detected!] [Ding! Congratulations, host, on obtaining a silver treasure chest!]

Blake grinned. Even a silver chest was a good start. Luna had high drop rates.

"Blake, were you talking to them?" Luna asked eagerly.

"Yep, I can communicate with magical creatures."

"How? Can you teach me?"

"Well… it's my talent. I awakened it with my magic. So, sorry, Luna, I can't teach it."

[Ding! Regret detected!] [Ding! Congratulations, host, on obtaining a silver treasure chest!]

Blake smirked. Luna was a treasure chest machine.

"That's okay!" Luna quickly recovered. "But can you translate for me if I meet a Crumple-Horned Snorkack?"

"Of course!"

The three climbed onto their Thestrals. Luna was so excited she triggered another golden treasure chest.

Blake cast a warming spell on Nagini and Luna. "This will block the wind and keep you warm."

They felt an immediate warmth as they held onto their Thestrals and took off.

Hogwarts Castle shrank beneath them. Luna, experiencing her first Thestral flight, was filled with awe and excitement.

By evening, they had long left England. Blake spotted a scenic hillside and landed.

"Let's rest here for the night."

He gracefully dismounted and helped Nagini down. She looked exhausted.

"How do you feel?"

"Just… sleepy." Nagini frowned. "It was fine at first, but after your warming spell, I got sleepier."

Blake paused. "Have you felt this before?"

"When sitting by a fireplace at night… I just get sleepier."

Blake's eyes gleamed. "Do you hate winter?"

Nagini blinked. "Yes… I feel drained every winter. I just want to sleep."

Blake sighed. "Sorry, Nagini. I shouldn't have brought you out in winter."

"It's okay. I hate winter, but I'm not afraid of the cold."

Blake glanced at Luna, who was still playing with the Thestrals, then whispered, "It's because you're part snake. Snakes hibernate."

Nagini's eyes widened in shock. She had been so happy as a human, she'd almost forgotten. But Blake was right.

"I… I want to be human."

Seeing her sadness, Blake grinned. "Don't you trust me? Muggles advance technology, and we wizards don't stand still either. If I could transform you once, there's a way to make it permanent."

Nagini felt reassured by his confidence. Though Blake was only twelve, he was her greatest support.

"Alright, sit and rest. I'll set up camp." Blake took her backpack.

Luna returned. "I asked my dad to send Gordig root tea. It's refreshing. I thought Nagini might need some."

"Thank you, Luna," Nagini smiled.

Luna beamed. "Blake, do you need water? I'll go find some."

"We're wizards, Luna." Blake smiled, pointing his wand at an empty kettle. "Aguamenti."

Water flowed into the kettle.

Luna's eyes sparkled. "Blake, you're amazing!"

Blake chuckled. "It's a basic spell."

"My dad's always busy with The Quibbler, so I never learned much magic from him. This is the first time I've seen that spell."

Blake's heart softened. He knew Luna's lonely childhood. But that was over now.

"Come to me anytime. I'll teach you any spell you want to learn."
