"Nan Sichen?" Qin Yin seemed unable to process it for a moment, her voice hoarse and slightly unpleasant.
"Why... why did you come back?" Qin Yin asked.
"I missed you, so I came back." Nan Sichen reached out, picked up a cup from the side, and handed it to her. "You just had a nightmare?"
"Mm!" Qin Yin nodded, took the cup from his hand, and gulped down several sips of water, finally calming the emotions stirred by the dream.
"Didn't you say you'd be away for two more days?" Qin Yin asked.
Nan Sichen took the cup back and set it down, without answering her. Instead, he asked, "What did you dream about?"
Qin Yin hesitated for a moment, then softly said, "I dreamt that you didn't love me anymore." She lied.
"Silly girl." Nan Sichen reached out and gently ruffled the top of her hair. "Even if the whole world abandons you, I will love you."
"Really?" Qin Yin held onto his waist tightly. "Nan Sichen, you're not lying to me, right?"
"No, I'm not."
