Raki and LeMay stood on the deck of the Neo-Marine ship. They looked at each other.
LeMay tilted his head, his smirk laced with arrogance. "You have no idea who you're messing with," he said. He thought this was going to be an easy mission but nothing is easy. He smiled. His tone dripped with condescension. "Do you even know who you're challenging?" he shouted.
"Who?" Raki asked back. She thought she could get some information out of him. He definitely did not look like the smartest tool in the box.
LeMay's grin widened. "Admiral Z," he shouted.
"Admiral?" she questioned. She looked at him.
LeMay laughed, his shoulders relaxing, like a man who knew too much. "Yes, Admiral. He's the one who trained some of the Admirals the Navy has." he responded. His laughter echoed, filled with confidence.
Raki understood the power of an Admiral. She had seen it firsthand. She thought back to that moment when Aokiji came and attacked them. She remembered the ice, the way it froze their entire crew, the pain of her injured sister, the wounds Ben bore, the rage that had burned in her heart for being too weak.
Her lips curled into a smile. "He may have trained them… but my Captain will beat him," she stated. She knew Ben would win eventually.
LeMay's laughter deepened. "Your Captain? He would never," he remarked. He scoffed, tilting his head. "In fact, I could beat him," he added. He thought they only won because of a fluke. There was no way they were this strong. He smiled.
His fingers tightened around his pistol. "Originally, I came here to capture the robots and their creator, so we could use them," he said. A slow smile crept onto his lips. "But now… I'll be taking all of you as well," he added. He thought this crew had devil fruits, which they can use. He would also have his revenge on Nojiko and the other girl.
Raki's expression didn't change. She thought he was delusional. She looked at the man she changed to stone. "How did you even find this place?" she asked.
"A Turtle Pose," he responded. He tilted his head slightly. "You don't have one?" he asked.
Raki's response was immediate. "I'll be taking yours," she replied. She did not want him to find this place again easily. She looked at Shimagame who was in pain.
LeMay's expression twisted. There was anger sparking in his eyes. "You have an ugly mouth, just like your ugly body," he said. "Ugly Raki," he added.
He looked at the monster in front of him. Then, with a sharp motion, his hand lifted. "Capture her," he shouted.
The order rang out however the Neo-Marines hestisted. They looked at their fellow friend turned to stone. "Breath of Basilisk," Raki said as she exhaled a grey mystical breath. The breath reached the Neo-Marines and they were all instantly petrified. .
"No," a Neo-Marine shouted as he aimed his gun. He pressed the trigger and a bullet went out of the chamber towards Raki. Raki moved forward and dodged the bullet. She swung her tail and hit the Neo-Marine who went overboard. There was a loud splash.
"Petrifying Gaze," Raki said as she looked at the Neo-Marines in front of her. The Neo-Marines looked back. Their eyes met and their bodies instantly turned into stone.
"Leave my men alone," LeMay shouted as he jumped in the air. He put this hand together and he was going to swing down.
Raki moved her tail and struck his side. The impact sent a brutal shockwave through his torso.
His body slammed into the deck, the wood groaning under the sheer force of his landing, splinters scattering across the surface.
For a second, he felt nothing but pain. His stomach stiffened, the muscles locking unnaturally, the warmth of life fading instantly. His fingers tensed, instinctively trying to reach the affected area, but he couldn't move properly.
He looked down and saw his stomach had turned to solid stone. "W-What… is going on?" he questioned.
Raki jumped down as she landed smoothly, her predatory gaze locked onto him.
She leaned in, mere inches from his face. Her presence loomed over him, suffocating, inescapable.
Then her eyes met his. "Petrifying Gaze," she said. The moment her words left her lips, LeMay's vision blurred, his heart pounding uncontrollably. A horrifying sensation overtook him.
His limbs stiffened. His jaw clenched involuntarily. A cold heaviness spread rapidly, his arms, his legs, his chest, all succumbing to the transformation, freezing into gray, lifeless stone.
His skin hardened and he was turned to stone.
Raki smiled, satisfied with her work. She turned around and saw the Neo-Marines running away. Some even jumped overboard. Raki moved to the Bridge. She saw it was empty. She turned back into her human form and found the turtle pose. "Here you are," she remarked. She picked up and walked outside.
She looked at the island. There were explosions. There were people lying on the ground. There was gun fire. It was chaos. There was death everywhere. She thought back to Skypiea, her home and thought war never changes.
Raki looked at the massive Mech and BGB in front of her. They were locked in a violent struggle, their mechanical bodies grinding against each other, each trying to overpower the other.
Metal screeched, joints groaned, and the ground trembled beneath their immense weight.
The Mech suddenly surged forward, its mechanical limbs pressing hard against BGB, forcing its opponent backward.
Mech then hurled BGB into the air, its massive weight sending it careening toward the forest with terrifying speed. BGB collided with multiple trees, the trunks splitting apart, wood exploding into splinters as the impact shook the landscape.
Dust and debris swirled, covering the area in a dense cloud as BGB lay momentarily motionless, its frame partially buried in wreckage.
However, BGB rose once again. Its optics flickered, stabilizers recalibrating, its body adjusting despite the damage. Pieces of broken tree fell from its shoulders. BGB looked at Mech.
She looked to Marianne, Nojiko, Zala and Saphir heading towards the CP8 ship. She thought she should join them.
