There was a loud banging noise coming from the front door.
"Let me in!" He knew that voice.
"Come one, I know there's!" And god did he know that smell.
He raised his eyes to heaven. Well, to the ceiling to be more precise. He strolled to the front door to open it.
"Gosh, that took you forever," The man at the door said. But his voice trailed off when he saw the face of the man across from him. "FeLIx? What are you doing here?" Silas, not sure about how to interpret that question, responded with a simple "I live here" The other male's eyes widened, and not a second later his jaw fell.
While he kept staring at Silas, Silas started to feel a bit uncomfortable. "Jiwon, stop staring at me! You know I get insecure real quick.."
"I'm...I'm sorry, Si, it's just...you know...I didn't know you lived here too…What luck!"
Silas couldn't follow at all. First, his beta is suddenly in front of his doorstep and then...." what do you mean 'too'?" He asked with a questioning look on his face.
"Oh. You don't know...of course, you don't know...Since I didn't know about you, you obviously don't know about me either." Jiwon said more to himself than to his interlocutor, and he was getting on Silas's nerves.
"Okay, what do I not know Jiwon, just get to your point!"
"Sorry, Si. So the point is, apparently, we'll be roomies, Silas!"
"ohw"
"What?! 'Ohw'?!"
"No, nothing...Due to your behaviour, I was just expecting some more exciting news, I guess."
"What do you mean 'more exciting'?! This is high news, Silas!" Jiwon answers, faking being really hurt by his bestie's reaction.
"Yeah yeah, come on in," Silas says while stepping aside.
Jiwon stepped past him into the hallway, holding in both hands a suitcase. Si pressed himself against the wall to let his roommate, and this one's suitcases, pass by. Silas hadn't closed the door yet or Jiwon started asking questions.
"Where should I hang my coat? Where can I leave my suitcases? Where is the living room? Where is the toilet? Where can I wash my hands? Where is the kitchen? Where am I sleeping? Where is our other roommate?"
"Stop rattling on Jiwon!"
"Sorry Silas..." Said Jiwon pulling a pout.
"No, I...I shouldn't have yelled at you. Anyway don't worry you'll find everything and for our roommate, he's not here. I don't know when he left or where he went."
"Ohw. Okay. Anyway, what are we eating?" Jiwon asked while wandering around the apartment.
"I ordered some fried chicken bu-"
"Oh my, I hadn't had fried chicken in forever!" Jiwon interrupted him.
"But I only ordered for one person since I thought no one would be home for dinner," Silas continued, "I can make some instant ramen though? I saw that there was some in one of the kitchen cabinets. And then we can share the chicken?"
"Thanks, Si,'' Jiwon said while hugging, almost choking, our little cook.
The boys hadn't talked to each other for a maximum of three days, due to preparing for school, but talked as though they hadn't seen each other in three hundred years.

When his best friend was bitten Silas did everything in his power to get him to join his pack. Unfortunately for him, or perhaps even fortunately for him, the alpha disagreed. This made Silas furious, of course.
His best friend was nothing more than a lone wolf.
In the weeks after, he kept criticizing the alpha's way of leadership, until the alpha couldn't stand it anymore. He challenged him.
The rules were simple: if Silas won, he would automatically become the alpha and could do as he pleased. He could add a new beta for himself and lead the pack as he wanted.
But if he lost, he had to leave the pack. Everyone knows a wolf without a pack is like a branch without a tree.
Set up dead.
Silas could simply not refuse a challenge coming from his alpha and so not a day later he would rewrite his future.
It would be a unique battle since the alpha himself challenged his beta, but also a beautiful one to watch.
An almost white wolf against one as black as the night.
Silas hated his fur. He hated the fact that everyone came across as intimidating with their brown to black fur, while he was stuck with one so blonde it could be called white.
The fight wasn't even five minutes in, or Silas was already on the ground.
That's it.
Silas no longer had a pack.
Tail between his legs he unwillingly walked away. Knowing that he was no longer wanted in the pack.
All his life he had been part of this pack. He was born into this, as his entire family was part of this pack.
He saw his parents looking on in shame, but only shame, nothing more. His sister, Olivia, and his only friend in the pack, Dante, however, were not ashamed but rather sad.
Silas went home. Not sure if his parents still wanted him as an outcast, he already cleaned up his room just to be sure.
Just as he was putting the last box on the pile, he heard a knock at the door. Olivia and Dante.
"We left," Olivia said as a way of greeting.
