As Lucifer and Alysa were walking to CKH, suddenly Lucifer received a call on his communicator.
"Hello, go for Lucifer."
"Hey, I just received the gift you sent."
Lucifer said, "Good to know. Okay then, thank you. Tell him I said hi."
Meanwhile, with Licht's group:
Licht said, "Yo, kids! Wanna come to my home tonight?"
Astrea and Anew asked, "Why?"
Licht replied, "It's my birthday! So, let's celebrate!"
Meanwhile at CKM, Lucifer entered Iris's room and placed a bouquet of flowers beside her.
Lucifer said, "Good to see you're healed—at least physically. As for your coma, you've got four weeks until the mission. Your mother may have disowned you, but she never hated you.
But now, the battle has come to your doorstep. If you don't wake up now, you'll lose your family forever."
Then Lucifer and Alysa left the room.
Alysa asked, "So, what are you doing later on?"
Lucifer replied, "Nothing exactly."
Alysa smiled, "So, you're free?"
Lucifer said, "Kinda, but I should probably get back to work."
Alysa teased, "Why so serious?"
Lucifer responded, "You know exactly why I do this."
Alysa nodded, "Yeah, I do. The more you work, the less everyone else has to. It's one of the downsides of having an excellent captain like you."
Lucifer chuckled, "I think you mean one of the most useless. Anyway, I suppose I'll take my leave."
Alysa quickly said, "Before you go… I wanted to ask you something."
Lucifer paused, "Sure."
Alysa said, "If you're okay with it… let's go on a date."
Lucifer smiled, "Sure. Here's the plan: First, we go shopping. Then, we watch a show at the theater. And finally, we enjoy dinner at Dine Restaurant."
Alysa blushed slightly and said, "Sure."
Then the two went on their date.
Meanwhile, at Licht's house:
Astrea and the others arrived. Licht called out, "Hello, Mommy! How are you?"
Licht's mother responded, "How are you, sweetheart? Come give your mom a hug!"
Licht said, "Sure, Mom."
Astrea whispered to Anew, "Is this really Captain Licht's mom?"
Anew replied, "I suppose so."
Licht's mom said, "I'm Elodie Jasmine, Licht's mom. Sorry, his dad isn't available right now—he's busy with work. But he'll be at the party later tonight.
In the meantime, do you kids want to see your beloved captain's childhood pictures?"
Astrea and Anew asked in unison, "Captain's???"
Elodie chuckled, "Yes, your captains—Licht and Lucifer—grew up very close. Let me show you some pictures.
This is them on their first day of school… and this one is them fighting over which is better: milk or dark chocolate."
Astrea gasped, "Wait… that hyperactive child is really Captain Lucifer? No way!"
Elodie laughed, "Oh, he was the most hyperactive child I ever knew. His attention span was so low, telling him something was the same as not telling him.
It was funny back then, even if a little worrisome. But after everything he's been through… now, sometimes I wish he could go back to how he was before the Battle of Galahad."
