Keira Leaf exhaled softly, her body weary as she walked upstairs.
She had just thrown her backpack on the sofa when she saw a spark of fire not far away, causing her whole body to back away two steps.
In the hazy darkness, a figure sat on the sofa, a cigarette sandwiched between the fingertips.
"You... you haven't slept yet?"
Recognizing the figure, Keira Leaf spoke softly and turned on the desk lamp on the tea table, casting Joshua Sulliven's shadow into view.
The man's expression seemed lonely, and after taking a few strong puffs of smoke, he extinguished the cigarette because of her return.
"Go wash up and sleep."
Joshua Sulliven didn't look at her, he just got up and walked towards the bedroom, appearing somewhat cold.
