I smiled as my little brother played with his monkey plushie. He had begun to regain some of his old muscle. It was all thanks to Koyuki and her strange friend. Some weeks ago, Yukito, her, and a man in a trench coat visited. The man was a doctor according to Yukito. At first, I was doubtful about it as the guy gave off fishy vibes, but after he checked my brother, he gradually began to recover his energy. I asked Koyuki and Yukito how he did it, but even they didn't know how the man did it.
I watched as he made his monkey plushie dance across the floor, his laughter filling the room with a melody of pure joy. It was a sound I hadn't realized I'd missed so much until it returned, vibrant and full of hope.
Despite my initial doubts about the mysterious doctor, I felt a deep sense of gratitude. Whoever he was, and whatever he had done, it had worked wonders. "You're getting better every day, aren't you?" I teased my brother, reaching over to ruffle his hair.
