Amden returned back to his dormitory with an expressionless face. He entered his room and took his seat on the chair.
At the same time, Amden let go of the emotions he had been keeping in check for the entire time. Spiritual energy became chaotic around Amden, and the room started to flood with immense killing intent. Amden's rage had taken over him and he felt his blood boiling out of anger.
"Amden, control your emotions," Voila snapped at him as she emerged out.
Amden did not speak for few moments, but he calmed himself down, and the condition in the room soon returned to normal.
"I almost got my family killed today," whispered Amden in a low voice, but it was laced with extreme anger.
"They are alive, Amden," Voila countered.
"No, Voila..." retorted Amden, but Voila cut him off, "They are alive, Amden."
"And I think you still have a lot to do," she said. "Your family has survived this time but you need to do a lot more to ensure their full safety."
