The eldest gnome had a look of doubt on his face until he saw what we showed him.
Then he couldn't help looking at me with a very strange look.
It was as if he was saying, "How did you do this?"
That was because what we showed him was the scene of the path that we cut through the land that was filled with corruption energy.
For the gnomes that had been isolated for so long, they never thought that they would be able to see a scene like this. In their eyes, the corruption energy seemed like it was something that mortals couldn't do anything against.
The only thing that they had managed to do was stop it with their special potions, but these were rare potions that took a lot of special materials to make.
As such, they didn't think that anything in this world would be able to deal with it.
But with the evidence right in front of their eyes, it was hard for them to deny it.
