After thinking about it, I finally thought of something.
I looked back up at the eldest gnome and asked, "Do you have any way of tracking the other gnomes?"
The eldest gnome was surprised to hear this before he narrowed his eyes to look at me. It didn't seem like he had any trust in me with the way that he looked at me like this.
But then again, it wasn't as if I was expecting any trust from him since I had never had any contact with him.
However, the Dwarven King spoke up when he saw the way that the eldest gnome looked at me.
"This is my brother in law. Anything that you can say to me, you can say to him."
The eldest gnome looked at the Dwarven King with a surprised and confused look, but the Dwarven King just stared back at him with a serious gaze. It was as if he wouldn't back down no matter what the eldest gnome said.
That caused a strange and conflicted look to appear on the eldest gnome's face, but he chose to accept this in the end.
