Ian seemed rather thoughtful. Although he had only briefly interacted with Chairman Yafada, the resonance between intelligent people allowed him to see the other's true thoughts: "When it comes down to it, the power of the Blood of the Ten Kings is significantly weakened outside of Canaan Moore, at least the assassinations aren't as unrestrained... Once his family leaves Canaan Moore, he can use his power to do something major. Chairman Yafada is someone who can clearly see the situation."
The Elf Knight Captain standing by was sweating as this group of young people indiscriminately discussed the Grand Council Speaker's family affairs. He was even a bit frightened that he might have overheard something he shouldn't, while the other Elven Knights were looking down, pretending to be deaf.
