At the very first moment, Ian felt as though he was floating in an intensely concentrated saline solution. His body was curled up in a curved, enclosed space, and he discovered that the number of limbs he could control exceeded that of humans. Especially noticeable was the tail behind him; its sensation was particularly vivid because it was wrapped around the outer layer of his body and pressing against the hard walls of the curved space.
This is a dragon egg. He was inside the dragon egg.
