Bonney was surprised at how much Liam knew about her Devil Fruit.
Even she who had had this devil fruit for as long as she could remember didn't know this kind of usage of her fruit.
As strange as it might sound, she felt like Liam knew almost everything about her.
It creeped her out for a moment.
But as a child, her curiosity overwhelmed her feelings as she asked.
"Why?"
"Because Haki is the supplement for a devil fruit. This is also something you guys should know."
Liam said while looking at others, and continued.
"If you have enough Haki, you can simply ignore the influence of others' Devil Fruit powers on you. You can't negate others' powers, but you can ignore them completely."
"Luffy can stretch himself as much as he wants. But if Law wants to use his Devil Fruit to control Luffy, he can't do it unless Luffy lets down his guard. You can try it."
Law looked at Luffy and nodded.
Luffy simply released Armament Haki on his body and waited. A blue sphere covered the deck of Merry.
The next moment, Law unsheathed his sword and slashed, but nothing happened.
Law let go of the room and said.
"It's not working. My sword can't cut Luffy-ya's neck."
"Were you trying to kill Luffy?" Nami screamed.
"Did you forget my power? I have absolute control in my room. He won't even bleed if I do that."
"Law, why don't you try again?" Luffy asked while stopping his Armament Haki.
This time, Luffy's head was separated from his neck. He didn't feel any pain, which made his eyes sparkle.
"Wow! This is so amazing. I can even talk."
"It's scary." Bonney muttered.
Hearing that, Liam continued.
"If Law had Armament Haki, he might have been able to cut Luffy even if Luffy covered himself with Armament. But with Observation Haki, Luffy can also predict and dodge his action."
"This is the supplement I was talking about. Luffy, you need to improve your Conqueror Haki. I forgot to mention this before."
"But there are people in this world who can forcefully negate someone's Devil Fruit powers just by releasing their Conqueror's Haki. I believe Shanks can do this to some extent."
At this moment, Liam got a bit serious and said.
"This might sound scary, but the previous owner of your devil fruit who awakened it could make an Admiral-level powerhouse's devil fruit unstable, if not wiped out."
"That means in his presence, you won't even be able to use Gears properly."

He was worried that Luffy would become lazy after reaching this level of strength.

So, if Luffy didn't continue training, he wouldn't be able to fight powerhouses from the World Government.
"Don't worry, Liam!"
Luffy also understood his concern and nodded.
Seeing this, Liam smiled and patted Luffy's shoulder.
"That's all the confirmation I need. I will be gone for a few days. I will meet you at Sabody."
"Wait, you are leaving? Where?" Luffy got confused and asked.
"I need to meet a scientist. He is going to make a big mistake, and that will cost him lives of an entire kingdom. Thousands and thousands of innocent people will die."
"Although we could sail to that sea right now, it will take a long time to reach there. I am already late with Kuma since I could've saved him from turning into a robot with my knowledge."
"I don't want to be late once again."
Hearing that, Luffy's face grew serious. His interest in going with Liam for the next adventure disappeared.
"Be careful, then! We will meet at Sabody."
"Kuma!" Liam smiled and turned toward Kuma, who nodded and pressed his hand on Liam.
Pop!
With the sound of a bubble popping, Liam disappeared from the ship.
"Nami, let's go to Sabody." Luffy raised both of his hands and shouted.
"I know, I know. Our ship is ready to set sail." Nami shook her head and answered.
Because they slept together, Nami had a conversation with Liam yesterday. She learned about his journey to Egghead island in the New World.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The sound of the transponder snail rang from Kuma's pocket, which startled everyone.
Kuma took out the transponder snail and answered the call.
"Kuma, what happened? Why haven't you arrived here?" A deep voice came from the snail.
"I am busy with something. I will find you later." Kuma replied before quitting the call.
"Who was that?" Luffy curiously asked.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku!" Kuma replied.
Luffy tried to think and remember him, but he hadn't seen him, so he was stuck.
Fortunately, Robin was there to save him.
"Luffy, he is the boss of Aokiji and Kizaru."
"Oh! Then, he must be strong." Luffy's eyes lit up. After fighting with Kaido, he wanted to fight some of that level and awaken his Devil Fruit.
"It is rumored that he is on the same level as your grandfather." Robin smiled and replied.
"Grandpa!"
Suddenly, Luffy felt chills on his back as he quickly shook his head.
"Nami, when are we leaving?"
Hearing that, everyone except Law and Kuma chuckled.
"By the way, didn't Liam call Buggy? Why haven't they arrived yet?" Luffy pouted and asked.
"Idiot, do you think traveling in the sea during the nighttime is possible? But since they are close by, they will find us at Sabody in the next two days." Nami replied while rolling her eyes.
"Then, guys, set sail to Sabody."
Luffy shouted while raising his hand.
"You have already said that twice." Nami almost punched him, but remembered the presence of Law and Bonney's crew, which stopped her.
Of course, if she were truly angry, she wouldn't care about them.
"Brook, let's go! I will show you around the ship." Luffy knew he shouldn't piss off Nami so he quickly changed his attention to Brook.
"Law, Kuma, and Bonney should come as well."
Four of them nodded and followed after Luffy, while Bepo, who was ignored by Luffy, fell into depression.
After all, he did join the crew with Law.
"Don't worry! Luffy didn't forget you. He knows you are a Navigator, so you need to be in that ship to help them navigate." Nami said while patting his furry body.
'That being said, Luffy totally forgot you.'
She snickered but didn't say it out loud. After all, it would make this cute and cuddly partner sad.
"He didn't." Chopper's eyes widened in shock when he heard that.
Never in his imagination did he think Luffy could think so far.
"That was a lie."
Usopp was speechless but still whispered in Chopper's ear. Before Chopper could shout out loud, he closed Chopper's mouth and took him away.
"He totally forgot that, right?"
"Yeah!"
Shachi and Penguin whispered to each other, but they also didn't say anything to Bepo.
"Aye-aye, Captain!" Bepo saluted Luffy and went to his ship.
On the other hand, Nami also instructed Bonney's crew to follow them.

In New World; Egghead Island,
"So, what do you want to talk about, Kuzan? You must have a good reason to stop my satellite project."
An old man with apple attached to his head spoke. This man wore a white coat and had a short stature.
"Ala-ala-ala, there is no reason to get mad at me, Vegapunk. I am here to see to make sure a friend of mine doesn't end up losing his best friend because of the choice."
Kuzan was sitting on a couch in front of Vegapunk.
"What do you mean?" Vegapunk was slightly startled as he asked.
"Because someone told me to ask the original one, since there could be a traitor around you. I was confused and originally thought they were some CP agents monitoring you."
"But then I saw your satellite project and thought more about it. You are giving sentience and free will to a bunch of robots that could go rogue at any moment."
"You are killing yourself. But that's not what I am here for."
Suddenly, the temperature of the room got colder as Kuzan asked.
"Tell me, Vegapunk, have you started to research on Void Century?"
