The Roaring Moon and the Tearing moon are both dragons of the Serpentine Class meaning their body was like that of a serpent or earthworm with just legs attached to perch on somewhere if necessary.

And seeing this Jay dived deep down and the missiles exploded on contact releasing a poison for dragons.
This poison was named DraTox or Dragon Toxin. Another element which was found to be poisonous for dragons.
This toxin is very useful for containing draconic species such as Drakes, dragons anything resembling reptiles or serpents.
But it's efficacy is less than Demon Blood. DraTox is simply A weak alternative to Demon blood.
Why not use demon blood?. Simple ethical restrictions and public backlash prevents the use of best of weapons. This backlash was from mainly from dragonfolk, draconic humans and demon of various subclasses .
They always want the best of result with the most humane option. Sometimes humanity itself hinders its own advancement.

At this moment Jay was thinking of giving up and the flashbacks had kicked in.

A close friend rescues and dives but there was no sign of life within 40 meters around him except for fishes which lived in the ocean.

And that's when he saw that the ships were firing bullets at the dragons while a boat came speeding towards Jay carrying a squad of men with specialized equipment.
Jay was out of the water but due to the claw he was once again sinking and that's when the men rescued Jay and started cutting the arm open with mithril and orichalcum saws. For these materials were strong and durable enough to cut through the claw and rescue Jay.
Jay was taken on the boat where he breathe heavily and coughed the water out of his system.
Soldier :

Jay was starting to feel tired and anxious. He saw the wall of abyss was slowly inching forward just 20 minutes away from devouvering the island.
