My name is Light Lunehart. I am 15 years old.
That was something that happened when I was seven years old. That night, my papa and mama never came home from their date. There was a terrorist attack at the mall they were going to, and they became victims and were killed during the attack. We felt like part of our hearts had been torn away, and it felt like they would never recover.
"Hueeeeee!!! Papa!!! Mama!!!"
"*sobs sobs* Papa. . . Mama. . ."
We both cried so crushingly over our parents' passing. When I look at Luca's painful expression when she cries, the face that she makes hurts my heart even further. After crying for a few minutes, I gradually stopped. I stand up and look towards her.
"Luca, I promise. I will take care of and protect you from now on! Until the day I die!"
"Nii-san. . .*sobs sobs*"
And so I swore an oath to always protect my sister from all harm, as she's the only blood tie I have left in this world.
From such a young age, me and my twin sister, Lucania Lunehart, had to survive on our own. When we received the news of our parents' passing from the neighbors, we cried our eyes and hearts out. We have no other family besides us four, now only us two. My parents said that every other family with the same name, 'Lunehart' had all vanished from the world. We had no idea what they meant, but the only thing that mattered was that it was just the two of us left now.
Our neighbors helped take care of us and gave us pointers as we grew up. We had to get jobs even though we were underage. Our neighbors also helped in that regard.
As the years went by, we have become independent of our neighbors. We learned how to cook, clean, wash the laundry, and do the dishes, basically all the necessities to survive. Most of our neighbors who helped us have moved away from their houses one by one over the years as we grew up. Now it's just the two of us again, but this time we can already survive on our own.
When we were in middle school, our school was destroyed by the results of a battle between two Believers. As a result, everyone in my middle school died, but Luca and I were the only two who survived. We have no idea what happened to those two Believers. The things that mattered to us were everyone in school whom I and Luca have befriended over the years.
I even have so many friends just in my year alone. I was even friends with the school janitors, security guards, teachers, and even the headmaster. But they were all gone in the blink of an eye. My heart felt like it was torn yet again. I feel like there are so many holes inside my heart, holes that may never close again.
And then I reached high school. . .

I opened my eyes.
"Woah? It's already this late?"

"*Yawns* Well, we got a day off from our part-time jobs, so I thought I'd do my homework for the day, and we'll be done at the same time! Turns out I finished faster than you."
"Well, okay then, let's go home! It's already 4 in the evening!"

I immediately packed my school stuff in my bag and am ready to go home.
This is my twin sister, Lucania Lunehart. She's currently 15 years old, the same as me. She has long, slightly spiky, black hair that reaches her back. Half of her hair bangs on the left was put behind her ears, held by a blue hairpin. She has a pair of purple eyes. She is rather thin and slender at 165 cm and weighs around 49kg. Her bust size is a B-cup.
Meanwhile, I have black spiky hair that waves from the front to the back. I have a tall antenna hair, and it curves sharply upwards halfway through. I also have a pair of purple eyes. It seems like black, spiky hair and purple eyes are physical traits of the Lunehart family, because I remember my papa used to have them as well, but not my mama. I am 168cm tall and weigh around 54kg.
We're both wearing the same uniform of this school with a white shirt and long gray pants for boys and gray skirts that cover the knees for girls.
As we walked in the hallway, we were suddenly approached by a boy from our school.
"Luca-chaaaaaaan!!! Are you finished with your student council stuff?"

"I-I am. . . What's up?"
I whispered to Luca.
"You know this guy?"
"Sort of. . . He's been acting pretty chummy to me as of late. I think it's been more than a week by now."
"What's his name?"
"I. . . I have no idea."
"Luca-chaaaaan!! How about it? Are you willing to accept my feelings for you today?"
"I-I'm sorry. . . I'm not ready to date anyone just yet! I am very busy with my part-time job, and being a student council member is just the cherry on top! Not to mention, I also have to take care of my house at the same time! I don't think I'll even have any time to have a relationship with anyone!"
"EEEEEHHHH? Then the answer is simple! If you date me, I'll make sure you're always living abundantly! No need to worry about your financial problems anymore! I am rich, so I can take care of you and your brother as well! Your life will be smooth sailing if you become my wife in the future!"

I grabbed my sister's hand and pulled her away from him, and we walked out of school towards home.
