Date: September 11

Place: Nagoya, Japan

[Cedrick]

After I pulled the another trigger, I am now out of bullets. But that did not go in vain as it was the last straw to bring down the unOrdinary nearing me. "Why is there suddenly this many," I sigh, putting a chip inside some electrical boxes that were hanging on the wall and some on the ground.

This will allow me to control the electricity while not being physically present in the electrical room.

"Everyone hurry and finish your task," her cold tone made me jump and trip on one of the unOrdinary corpses behind me. "Send support as fast as you can," we heard multiple ear-piercing screams at her end before the connection got cut.

"Noel, Kikoe?" I contacted them, frantically trying to dial her connection as well.

"Yes, we're filling our last bags," they seemed panicked and I heard glass bottles clanking on their end.

"Take as much time as you can, I'm heading her way now," they answered my order with such tense agreement. "Careful how you handle those," I try to remind them.

The chip took a few more minutes to download stuff onto my device. And as soon as the tiny light turned green on my watch, I sprinted towards the third floor.

[Rei]

"Who—," the man who was holding the sharp hunting knives before staring at me confused, then glaring at the girl who I had conversed with. "Why is there a new face here?" I can hear them mumble to themselves while my eyes are inspecting every nook and cranny of this disgusting place.

The walls were painted all shades of red along with the floor that was far from clean. Everywhere you look, blood stains and butchered remains of humans are displayed and scattered.

The lights were broken, but the room was lit with the fire from their stove, piles of magazines and other burnable materials were just sitting beside it along with oils and uncountable numbers of lighters and candles.

Inside the closed stalls, rotting dismembered body parts were peeking, while different sizes of bones were scattered everywhere in the room.

There were multiple adults in the room, two women were hovering and ripping the clothes around the eldest as a man held a knife that was ready to take his life. While there were two grown men on each of the youngest, running their dirty hands around them.

"Is she a new recruit?" I glanced at the brightened expression of a man that has a tiny human skull around his neck, wearing it as an accessory. I roamed my sight around his hands which were gripping the young girl's thighs.

"She was the one who returned the kids to me," the woman I had an interaction with fidgeted and sounded stiff.

"Why did you have to be followed," someone aggressively whispered.

"There's already seven mouths to feed, why'd you bring another one?" another side comment that made my skin crawl.

The young girl was being muffled by the ragged cloth which she wore the last time I saw her. "Bitch," my hands fell onto my side, and grabbed the gun and I pointed it to the man who seemed to be the leader of this group as everyone acted anxiously towards him.

His smile faded, putting his hands up as everyone slowly followed and exchanged glances at each other.

"Woah, woah, woah," the leader repeatedly says, his knees inching closer to the ground to help him stand up. "Let's be civil here," his comment triggered me to shoot his right thigh, unhesitantly.

"Kiss the floor," his piercing wail echoed in the room but my sight was only on the three who were staring at me, shivering and tears running down their unstuffed mouths after they removed the clothes themselves when they were freed.

"Let's negotiate, shall we?" Another man who had his hands on the young boy earlier now attentively has his forehead on the floor while his hands are high up where I can see them, clearly.

"Shut your mouths," I replied. The one who spoke crumpled on the floor, gripping his right hand as he cried loudly after I used another bullet. "Kids, come here," I smiled at them when I saw the fear in their eyes as they looked at me.

"Didn't I say that I'd fly to you when you need my help?" My eyes slightly watered at their helplessness against seven adults. "So please come to me, I want to help you," I gripped my gun and pointed it towards someone who was suspiciously about to move their hands.

I refrained from pulling the trigger as both of the young kids picked themselves up and ran toward me.

"Big sis!" the girl wailed, getting behind me and gripping my dirtied clothes.

I could feel their trembles and unsteady breaths.

"Sister Rei," the boy did the same as they limp their way towards me.

"Our food!" I hear someone wail too. "No!" another tone spoke up.

I was removing my jacket but my sight was still focused on them when their hands tried to reach on one of the running kids. "Try me," I glared down at the two men whose hands now had a hole.

"Here," I whispered and gave them my unOrdinary blood-stained jacket. It was better than nothing. They shared, using it to cover themselves and hid behind my legs. "Let go of him," I lowered my tone and held a knife in my left hand.

"Take the two," the man who held a knife earlier had a tiny split second to grab the boy's hair while he was rushing towards me. "Leave this boy here and we might make you leave unscathed," all I could hear were the grunts of the boy as he was scratching the man's hand with all his might.

"Shin!" the girl cried, about to sprint to his side which I barely stopped the second my body reacted by reflex.

"Big brother Shin!" the young boy was about to jump and ran towards the one they called 'Shin' when I only stopped him with my free left arm. "Can the both of you close your eyes and cover your ears please?" I say without looking at them.

I hear their weeps and weak affirmations. "Good kids, this will be over soon," I quickly saw them doing as they were told on my peripheral. "Now you—" I was cut in when the kid shouted.

"Please, just save them and leave me here," my eyes widened in bewilderment when I heard his surrender while the adults laughed.

"You heard the kid!"

"Get out of here or we'll end up having a feast with everyone here!"

"Don't make us angry!" The one who grabbed the kid now had the knife guarding his neck. "Go now!"

"Sure," I shrugged.

Despite everyone's sudden chuckle, all I could hear was the kid's sudden burst of tears that turned into a sorrowful scream.

A scream that he was holding on for too long.

"Shin," I shouted back.
