"Frustrating," she gritted her teeth, "You won't guess, and you won't give a reward; how boring can you be. If I weren't in such a good mood today, I wouldn't even bother with you!"
As she spoke, the warm breath from her words showered onto his neck.
Sylvan Cheney's fingers clenched the newspaper, suppressing his expression.
He didn't speak.
Jasmine Yale clung to his neck but still felt unsatisfied.
"I'll have you know, I ranked eighth in my class this time, not bad, right?" Jasmine couldn't help but blurt it out to him.
"I thought you'd be first."
"Why are you being so sarcastic? You well know I can't get first place, why are you like this? It's not enough that you don't praise me, you have to mock me, too. I did really well already."
So annoying, but still, keep that smile.
Sylvan Cheney curved his lips slightly.
Seeing him silent, Jasmine angrily freed a hand and grabbed his tie from behind.
"I officially start my vacation today, 25 days in total."
"So?"
