Hymn of the rain

It was the season of rain when I first heard those melodies. Under the drenching sky, I was counting the sorrows of my life, While someone else was embracing each moment of theirs with the falling raindrops. And then, that voice... Soft, yet reaching straight to the heart- "Live, for life is but one-stay happy and spread it around. We are companions in this journey till death... Just give me your hand..." There was something magical in those words. It felt as if the rain had touched my sorrows, As if someone had called my name, As if an unseen hand was pulling me out of the darkness.. A rule-following girl who lived in fear, always hesitant. Her dreams were different, but she walked a path shaped by others' desires. She always thought about fulfilling others' wishes, suppressing her own voice, too afraid to stand up for herself. In the process of making others happy, she had lost herself. She was tired of living like this, and slowly, she realized—she wanted to be somewhere else, but she was heading in a completely different direction. On the other side was Sean—a boy who lived life with happiness, a breathtakingly handsome and popular guy at his school. A constant smile adorned his face. He, too, had his own sorrows, but he never let them weigh him down. His only belief was: "Stay happy and make others happy." Music was his dream, and he lived life on his own terms.
