Chapter 3 - It's Huge....really Huge.

"What the heck?!"

Tony's voice cracked through the comms as he stared ahead, eyes wide behind the helmet.

Even from two kilometers away, he could see it clearly—the thing. A colossal, monstrous shape moving through the heart of the city like a living natural disaster.

"Sir, that is the target," J.A.R.V.I.S. confirmed, his voice steady.

Tony narrowed his eyes. "You sure this isn't just a PTSD hallucination? Some alien flashback dream?"

"Negative, sir. Visual data confirms the entity is real."

Tony exhaled, cutting through the air with increased thrust as he surged closer.

"Can our firepower even scratch that thing?"

"From the data gathered so far—no," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied. "The creature's hide is highly resistant to physical impact. Collapsing skyscrapers have fallen on it with zero visible damage. Direct missile strikes to its body are unlikely to yield effective results. However, weak points have been identified—specifically, the eyes."

"Oh, it even has eyes?"

"Affirmative. Two large yellow eyes, with a reptilian pupil structure, partially shielded by an armored brow."

A zoomed-in schematic appeared in Tony's HUD as J.A.R.V.I.S. overlaid the visual data.

"Huh. Ugly bastard," Tony muttered. "Can we land a shot?"

"Affirmative, sir. Though a direct strike is possible, it is highly advised not to get too close. Thus far, the entity has displayed no ranged attack capabilities, but its physical strength and size make proximity extremely dangerous."

"Got it." Tony smirked. "Alright, let's play a little game of cat and mouse."

Without another word, he raised his right arm and fired the first missile.

The projectile cut through the sky, a sleek streak of light aimed precisely at the beast's left eye.

The Kaiju—classified as Tresspasser—was a mountain of unstoppable mass, bulldozing through buildings with no resistance. It hadn't even slowed once. Its direction was mindless, destructive, and purely forward.

Until now.

The missile struck just as Tresspasser instinctively tried to close its eyelid.

BOOOOM.

The explosion rocked its head back. A howl of pain—deafening and monstrous—rippled through the city as the Kaiju stumbled, slamming a massive clawed hand to the ground to stabilize itself.

But the impact of that motion alone toppled five skyscrapers.

Steel twisted. Glass shattered. Entire rooftops crumbled like sandcastles beneath its hand.

The collateral damage was immense—but thanks to early evacuation protocols, civilian casualties remained relatively low.

Still, the ground quaked under the weight of the beast. The city groaned. San Francisco was being dragged into a waking nightmare.

And Tony Stark had just pissed off a walking apocalypse.

ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

A deafening roar tore through the sky like a cannon aimed at the heavens. The sound wave hit with such force it literally felt like it had ripped the air apart. It echoed for miles—nearly sixty kilometers away—shaking windows, rattling bones, and splitting silence like a blade.

Tony flinched. His ears rang violently, and everything around him dulled into a single, screeching ding.

He couldn't hear anything.

J.A.R.V.I.S. was speaking, but it was like shouting into a vacuum. The HUD blinked, audio warnings flashing red. Tony's instincts screamed louder than any alert.

He looked ahead—just in time to see the colossal monster slowly turning its head.

Its face locked onto him.

The left eye was ruined, a gaping crater of pulsing blue ichor that spilled down the Kaiju's face like molten acid. But that didn't dull its focus—in fact, the injury only intensified it.

The creature's fury was undeniable.

Even though it had no pupils to track, Tony felt its hatred—raw, chaotic, and absolute—bearing down on him like the heat of the sun.

Then, J.A.R.V.I.S.' voice finally cut through the ringing.

"Sir! Run!"

Tony didn't hesitate. His thrusters roared to life, and he shot off just in time to avoid the sudden leap of the beast.

It crashed down where he'd been a split second ago—its massive limbs slamming into the earth, sending shockwaves rippling through the city.

It was on all fours now.

Though it normally walked on two legs, the Kaiju now sprinted like a savage beast—using all four of its limbs to chase him down with terrifying speed.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., I think we've got its full aggro."

Tony ducked a massive swing aimed straight for him. The creature's arm tore through the skyline like a wrecking ball, reducing two skyscrapers to rubble in an instant.

"Sir, I strongly advise luring it away from populated areas."

"Roger that."

Tony veered hard to the right, pushing his thrusters to maximum output. The city blurred beneath him as he fled toward the outskirts, weaving between buildings, desperate to lead the monster away from the remaining civilians.

Behind him, the Kaiju let out another thunderous roar—frustrated, enraged, and relentless.

Tresspasser was locked in.

This wasn't just retaliation—it was personal.

It had marked Tony Stark as an enemy that couldn't be allowed to exist under the same sky. His strike to the eye had shattered its pride, and now, it would not stop.

The monster bulldozed through buildings and streets, smashing through obstacles in a straight line, desperate to grab the metallic mosquito it couldn't swat.

Again and again, it lunged—massive hands swiping, jaws snapping—but Tony was just too fast. Barely.

"Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. reported, "sample scans indicate the blue liquid from its damaged eye is highly corrosive. Traces on nearby metal structures show complete corrosion—similar to high-grade acid."

"You've got to be kidding me."

Tony's heart pounded. The thing was too big to be real, and yet here it was—moving with impossible speed and terrifying precision.

Every swing was a near-death experience. Every dodge left him seconds from being swatted like a bug.

And despite its sheer size and weight…

It wasn't slowing down.

"What the hell is this thing?" Tony muttered, dodging another swipe that obliterated a highway overpass behind him. "Where does it even get this much energy?"

Tony barely dodged another bone-shattering arm swing, the creature's claws missing him by inches as he darted around a half-collapsed building.

Then, his comm crackled to life.

"Tony, report. Is that thing dangerous?" came Steve Rogers' voice, firm and urgent.

"Dangerous my ass—!" Tony snapped, then gasped, twisting mid-air to avoid another incoming blow. "Shit! Barely keeping myself alive here!"

"What's going on?" Steve asked, his tone tightening as his heart rate spiked.

Tony veered between buildings, voice strained. "Nothing much. Just... playing cat and mouse—with a skyscraper-sized lizard on steroids. God, this thing is fast!"

He was running on pure reflex now. Adrenaline fueled every maneuver. His suit strained under the constant boosts, but he didn't have a choice. He couldn't fight this thing—not really. Not directly.

His job was simple: keep it moving. Keep it away from people.

Maybe Banner would show up and punch it into orbit. That'd be nice.

"Tony, what kind of power are we dealing with here?" Steve asked again.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., why don't you take this one? I'm a bit busy not getting turned into modern art."

"Understood, sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied.

The AI switched comm channels. "Captain Rogers. A pleasure as always."

"Likewise, J.A.R.V.I.S. Give me the rundown."

"The creature is approximately 90 meters in height, and estimated at over 2,000 metric tons in mass. Its hide is extraordinarily durable—resistant to all known missile payloads. The only damage we've inflicted so far was a direct missile strike to its eye, which has triggered an aggressive behavioral shift. It is now singularly focused on pursuing and eliminating Sir Stark."

Inside the Quinjet, Steve, Natasha, Clint, and Bruce absorbed the information in silence.

Bruce leaned forward. "Can Tony take it down?"

J.A.R.V.I.S. hesitated—then answered truthfully. "No, sir. Not with his current arsenal. The only theoretical method of elimination is a nuclear payload, which presents unacceptable collateral risks. A direct confrontation is not viable."

Tony's voice cut back in through the comms.

"Banner, buddy... you might wanna go green and slap this thing into the Pacific. Any time now."

"Language, Tony." Steve added automatically.

"Yeah, yeah, Grandpa," Tony shot back, weaving through the skyline as the Kaiju's arm came crashing down behind him, reducing a parking garage to dust.

His chest heaved as his arc reactor thumped against his ribs like a war drum. Close call after close call had left him rattled, his usual snark struggling to mask the sheer tension riding his nerves.

J.A.R.V.I.S. chimed in again. "I must caution against a direct confrontation involving Dr. Banner. The blue ichor leaking from the creature's damaged eye is highly corrosive and has not been tested against gamma-irradiated tissue. Unknown variables remain."

Tony gave a grim nod. "Good call. If that glowing blue blood melts steel, I don't wanna find out what it does to Hulk's skin—or mine."

Finally, after a grueling, nonstop chase, Tony saw what he'd been desperate for:

The ocean.

Only five kilometers now.

He was out of the city. The worst of the populated zones were behind him.

He could finally breathe. Almost.

"That's going to complicate things," Steve muttered over the comms, glancing at Bruce. Then back into the sky. "Alright. For now, just lure it as far from the city as you can. We'll figure out the rest. Just don't die."

"Hey, that's one command I fully intend to follow," Tony replied.

And with that, he shot forward—thrusters burning blue in the afternoon sky—dragging the colossal Kaiju behind him in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
