Chapter 26 - Realm of the Forgotten — A Silent God Awakens

Zayn stood at the edge of a strange, misty land. This place was different from all the realms he had visited. The air was still, the sky had no stars, and the ground beneath him was gray and lifeless. It felt… forgotten.

"This is the Realm of the Forgotten?" he whispered, his voice echoing back softly as if the world itself had been sleeping for ages.

He had found this realm after reading the last lines carved into the tablet left by The Nameless One. "To awaken what is forgotten, you must first forget yourself." Zayn had meditated for three days, letting go of everything — his powers, identity, even his emotions. And just like that, the portal opened.

Now he stood inside.

The silence was heavy. But Zayn's senses were sharper than ever. He wasn't just feeling the silence — he was hearing it. It pressed against him like a living thing. Every step he took sent silent ripples through the dust.

Suddenly, the wind stirred.

But this wind wasn't natural.

It carried voices.

Soft. Distant. Weeping.

Zayn turned toward the sound. His golden eyes glowed slightly. "Show yourself."

And then, from the mists, figures appeared — not people, but shadows. Their forms flickered, like torn memories. Some were laughing. Others were crying. Some were screaming without mouths.

Zayn narrowed his eyes.

"These are the forgotten gods," came a voice behind him. A deep, calm, eternal voice.

Zayn spun around. A man stood there. Tall, silver hair, eyes as deep as endless time. His robe was plain white, but every inch of it seemed to hold galaxies. His presence was ancient.

"You…" Zayn said slowly. "You're—"

"The Silent God," the man said with a small smile. "I was once known as Ozeron, Keeper of Lost Truths. But here, I am simply one who was forgotten."

Zayn didn't bow. He didn't flinch. "Why did you call me here?"

Ozeron looked at him carefully. "Because you are the only one who remembers what it means to be more than powerful… to be eternal."

"I didn't come for riddles," Zayn replied. "I came to awaken the truths The Nameless One sealed away."

Ozeron raised an eyebrow. "And what will you do with those truths?"

Zayn's gaze burned. "I will reshape the heavens."

The Silent God chuckled. "You sound like I once did... before I learned."

Zayn remained still. His aura slowly expanded, pushing the mists aside.

Ozeron smiled again. "Very well. Come."

He turned and walked deeper into the mist. Zayn followed.

As they moved, the landscape began to shift. Shadows turned to memories — broken temples, shattered stars, forgotten names written in fading light. Zayn saw glimpses of ancient wars, gods battling in silence, universes being born and buried in the blink of an eye.

"This realm was created to hold what no realm could hold," Ozeron explained. "Power beyond measure. Secrets beyond time. Souls beyond salvation."

"And why was it hidden?"

"Because even gods were afraid," Ozeron said. "Afraid of what they'd become… if they remembered everything."

Zayn stopped. "I'm not afraid."

Ozeron turned to face him again. "Then you are ready."

With a wave of his hand, the mists parted completely — revealing a massive stone gate, floating in the air, bound by chains of silence.

"That," Ozeron said, "is the Gate of Recollection. Behind it lies what was erased from all realities."

Zayn stepped forward.

But the gate didn't open.

A voice whispered in the air.

"To unlock what is forgotten, you must surrender what you fear to forget."

Zayn closed his eyes. He saw faces — his mother, his lovers, the people of the realm he saved, the enemies he crushed. The pain. The joy. The pride.

"I… am ready."

He placed his hand on the gate.

A burst of light exploded.

Zayn's body shuddered.

He saw a thousand lifetimes flash before him. He remembered being a child. He remembered every death he avoided. He remembered the tears he never cried. And then…

He saw her.

A girl.

A face he couldn't recognize.

But his soul did.

"Who… are you?" he whispered.

No answer.

Only the sound of the gate opening.

As the gate swung wide, a storm of light and shadow burst forth — hitting Zayn like a mountain crashing onto his soul.

But he didn't fall.

He absorbed it.

Piece by piece.

The memories of forgotten gods.

The truths hidden by the universe.

The original laws of creation.

Everything.

Zayn's eyes opened — now burning with starlight and void.

The mist vanished. The realm shifted. And the Silent God stepped back, awe filling his eternal eyes.

"You are no longer a visitor," Ozeron said quietly. "You are now the Heir of the Forgotten."

Zayn didn't smile.

He simply turned and whispered, "The heavens will remember… because I will make them remember."

And with that, he vanished — not through a portal, but by rewriting the very rules of space and existence.

The Silent God stood alone.

And for the first time in eons… he bowed.

"To the Star Sovereign… the Eternal God of All Realms."
