Chapter 1
In a small village nestled at the foot of the southern mountains, where the world still seemed simple and the sky forever bright, a young boy named Wang Sheng sat alone by the dirt path. His gaze pierced the endless blue above him, empty yet dreaming.
His body was thin, pale, and frail since birth. He was rarely allowed to leave the village—his father feared too much. Feared that the outside world would steal away their only child. And yet, behind that fragile body lay a brilliance that made the villagers whisper praises in secret, calling him a "miracle child."
Wang Sheng's father was a humble woodworker. His hands were rough, his clothes plain, but every carving he made seemed to breathe with life. Though not wealthy, their small family never starved—there was always warm food, a roof overhead, and more than anything: love.
His mother, a gentle and serene woman, often sewed clothes for him. Sometimes too big, sometimes too thick—but Wang Sheng knew it was because she feared winter might steal his life.
While other children helped in the fields or herded goats, Wang Sheng spent his time under trees, reading old books, dreaming of the world beyond the mountains. He imagined vast skies… a world waiting just for him.
That day, he had just finished a book. He closed it, stood slowly, and walked home. In the sunlit yard, his father sat carving a wooden plaque. The character "Sheng" was only half-formed.
"Father…" Wang Sheng mumbled.
The old man looked up, smiled, and puffed his pipe as he said:
"How were your studies today?"
"So many ideas… but the world feels too small," Wang Sheng whispered, making his father chuckle softly. At the dining table, his mother called him to eat, her eyes full of affection as she fed him a few rare pieces of meat—luxury for a family like theirs.
But Wang Sheng always preferred to eat by himself. His mother eventually stepped away.
That sky, however... slowly lost its color.
Clouds gathered. A strange wind rose. The air grew tense. Birds fled toward the mountains. The earth seemed to hold its breath.
CRACK!!!
A celestial rift tore open the sky above the village.
From within, blazing golden runes emerged, drifting like cursed incantations of old. Behind them appeared a colossal sword made of divine light—sharp, massive, and brimming with destructive might. It hovered like judgment from the heavens.
"WANG SHENG!!!" his mother screamed, rushing out of the house. She grabbed her son and held him tightly. His father looked up, face pale. The chisel slipped from his hand.
Yet he did not run.
Instead, he stood before his wife and son.
> "You will not touch them… even if I must be destroyed with this village."
The sword descended.
The sky roared. The ground trembled. Houses began to burn even before the blade struck the earth.
BOOOM!!!
Energy surged and exploded.
The land cracked open. Fire spread. Villagers screamed—no time for prayers.
Everything… was annihilated.
Within the storm of ruin, Wang Sheng felt the final embrace of his parents. No long farewells. No time for words. Only… the warmth of fading bodies.
And a cry that never left his lips—only welled up in the eyes of a 14-year-old boy who had no idea what had just happened.
Yet, amidst fire and ashes, Wang Sheng's body remained whole. He lay at the heart of a massive crater, surrounded by a dim light emanating from a small orb embedded in his chest—ordinary in appearance, yet defying the very laws of the world.
> The Celestial Rebel Pearl.
An ancient relic undetectable by heaven's laws.
Thanks to it, Wang Sheng's existence… vanished from the records of the sky.
The celestial enforcers believed their mission complete.
They left.
But they were wrong.
Terribly… terribly wrong.
There remained only a small boy, broken and alone, in the ashes of his parents.
Crying, wondering why he hadn't turned to ash like them.
And from those ashes,
the fate of a Celestial Rebel will rise.
A boy from an unknown village,
a boy who lost everything…
will one day make the heavens lose everything in return—
and regret the day they murdered his family.
