Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Orion's Secret

---

Orion strode with steady steps, leaving the Throne Room and descending from the Tenth Floor to the Ninth. Behind him, Albedo walked with light, graceful steps, her slender jade hands, clad in silk gloves, gently clasped before her like a refined noble lady.

Her iridescent golden pupils remained fixed on Orion's robed back. Her eyes flickered occasionally, her cheeks flushing. Her long jade legs, hidden beneath her silk gown, moved together as she walked, her body trembling faintly, her gaze distant and unfocused, lost in thought.

Orion suddenly stopped.

Albedo, slightly distracted, snapped back to attention. She halted at a respectful distance – neither too close nor too far – bowing her head in deference. Though she longed to be closer, such proximity would be an unforgivable transgression against a Supreme Being.

"**Albedo.**" A low, authoritative voice emanated from the visage of dark flames beneath Orion's hood.

"I am here, Zarathustra-sama!" Albedo responded in her soft, alluring tone.

"Leave us here. You are dismissed. As Overseer Guardian of **Nazarick**, you have your own duties to attend to."

"...With the current changes, you, as Overseer Guardian, must be especially vigilant and fulfill your responsibilities!"

Standing with his back to her, Orion issued his command.

Albedo felt a pang of regret. She had hoped this time she might enter Zarathustra-sama's royal chambers and receive his affection. But Supreme Beings were indeed Supreme Beings, untroubled by such base emotions, their thoughts solely occupied by grand truths and momentous affairs.

Lowering her gaze demurely, she replied softly, "...Yes, Zarathustra-sama. I shall heed your words and fulfill my duties as Overseer Guardian."

Orion gave a slight nod. "...Very well. Attend to your duties then. Oh, and from now on, you personally will clean my room. No need to trouble the maids."

Hearing this, Albedo trembled, her face erupting in ecstatic joy, her lips unconsciously twisting into a terrifying grin. However, she quickly realized this unladylike expression was unbecoming. Suppressing her inner elation, she struggled to maintain her composure, bowing deeply. "...Your will, Zarathustra-sama!"

"**Go.**" Orion gestured dismissively.

"To the Supreme Beings, I offer the tribute of my loyalty!" Albedo knelt once more in a deep bow. Then she rose, bent at the waist, head lowered, hands clasped before her, and slowly backed away.

As Albedo disappeared from view, Orion faintly thought he heard the white demoness's triumphant laughter echoing down the corridor.

He shook his head and entered his private quarters.

The Ninth Floor of **Nazarick** housed the Royal Suites – the personal rooms belonging to the guild members. When this was just a game, these rooms served little purpose beyond being login/logout points. No matter how exquisite the furniture, it was ultimately just background decoration in a virtual world. But now, with the game made real, these furnishings had found their purpose.

Orion's room was enormous, essentially a small palace. It boasted the bold grandeur of Baroque style combined with the imposing splendor of Roman architecture. Knowing a second transmigration was possible, Orion had taken care in decorating his room.

He understood Albedo's intentions perfectly. As someone who had achieved significant success in the real world, he felt no shyness about touching a peerless beauty utterly at his command. His reason for maintaining calm and reason wasn't some perceived danger to the guild; it was solely because—

Standing before the full-length mirror in his room, Orion examined his current form.

He wore pure black robes edged in gold. His body was composed entirely of pitch-black flames. His terrifying appearance was both monstrous and strangely beautiful, evoking primal fear in anyone who saw him, screaming 'demon'. Now, Orion resembled an elemental lifeform embodying the concept of decay, similar in nature to Momonga's skeletal form.

"**Fuck me, I'm a genderless being now too!**" Orion cursed under his breath, his tone utterly resigned.

Thankfully, this was merely one of his demonic forms. If he could unlock his other forms, the 'gender' situation could be rectified.

Orion had always known the source of his power wasn't Yggdrasil. It stemmed from the **Gift of the Evil God's Mother** and the '**Third Star Particle**' flowing in his blood!

Holding the now-physical simulated Star Atlas 『Avatāra』, Orion doubted Yggdrasil possessed the capability to manifest *this*. If the Gift of the Evil God's Mother was like a complex machine housing various mystical abilities, then the Third Star Particle was the *energy* required to activate those inconceivable powers.

"Sorry, Touch Me," Orion sighed. "We were good friends, but to minimize unknowns, I couldn't bring you along."

"...But don't worry about the real world. I've transferred some of my assets into your name. That should be enough for you to live comfortably."

He felt a pang of genuine regret. He *was* capable of emotion. Having known Touch Me for twelve years, he could be considered Orion's closest friend in this world. But who knew what unforeseen consequences bringing Touch Me along might cause? Orion wasn't willing to gamble.

As for the other guild members, Orion politely declined the thought. Setting aside Momonga's good-natured personality, if the entire **Ainz Ooal Gown** transmigrated, Orion could easily foresee the outcome: the guild fracturing, with the vast majority dying in this new world. Their negative Karma values in the game labeled them as 'evil', but that was just game data, unrelated to their real personalities.

Someone like **Touch Me** was genuinely righteous, while **Ulbert Alain Odle** was truly malevolent. If both transmigrated, they would inevitably clash violently, leading to one's permanent demise.

The reason the Fourth Calamity (玩家群体) was powerful was because they knew it was virtual. But when the Fourth Calamity realizes this is *real*, that all 'NPCs' are living people, their sense of morality inevitably crumbles. That guy Ulbert *would* truly kill people, while Touch Me would absolutely protect the weak.

"I recall a setting called something like the '**Eight Greed Kings**'," Orion murmured, gently shaking his head. "They wiped themselves out through infighting."

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and began to visualize the **Evil God's Mother**.

In the next instant, Orion found himself within a world of dark nothingness.

This dark void was Orion's greatest secret!
