Transported into the world of pirates, I became the fearsome Kaido of the Beasts. In this ruthless sea, one truth stands above all: only power rules everything. In my very first battle—on the legendary Island of Gods—I awakened the power of a Devil Fruit. Even before the era of the Great Pirate began, I had already reached my original peak state. But that was just the beginning. After the Battle of Ait Wall, I set my sights on Wano Kuni, nearly a decade ahead of the timeline. Face Roger. Conquer nations. Shake the world. I am the true strongest creature—across sea, land, and sky.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: I Took Kaido's Place

Sea Circle Calendar, Year 1484 — The Island of Gods

This was the battleground where legends clashed. Known as the "strongest in the world," the Rocks Pirates were here. So was the full military might of the Navy Headquarters. But what the world didn't know was this: the Roger Pirates were also part of the chaos.

Above the Island of Gods, black clouds rumbled with thunder, shaking the sky and the earth. The Battle of the Island of Gods would go down as one of the greatest and most unforgettable wars in history. The island, named after "God," was already beginning to collapse under the weight of destruction. It wouldn't be surprising if it sank beneath the sea at any moment, with so many powerful figures locked in battle.

Suddenly, a figure fell from the roaring black sky, crashing into the island's ground.

Gasps rang out—he was one of the Navy's Three Admirals: Uji!

His cloak of "Justice" was tattered, with only the last character, "Zheng" (justice), barely hanging on. His body was soaked in blood. It was clear—he was already dead.

Moments later, another figure plummeted from the clouds. Like Admiral Uji, this man was also covered in blood. He hit the ground hard, defeated.

But then, a powerful presence stepped through the sky using Moonwalk. He landed atop a high rock with ease.

"Vice Admiral Garp!"

A burly man, who looked no older than forty, stood firm—this was [Iron Fist] Monkey D. Garp, the strongest Marine alive.

Not far behind him, yet another figure descended from the sky.

It was the most feared and vicious pirate of the time: Rocks D. Xebec!

RUMBLE!!!

On the other side of the island, the earth trembled as Garp and Rocks collided. Their battle shook the entire Island of Gods.

In the midst of the storm, a massive blue dragon soared through the rain, transforming mid-air into a man.

He had a strong frame, slicked-back black hair, horns, and a fearsome mace in hand. Though he looked under thirty, his aura was overwhelming.

He was a trainee pirate of the Rocks Pirates, yet feared by all—

[Blue Dragon] Kaido!

Opposite him stood a man with a cloud-shaped beard, a traditional pirate captain's hat, and a Western-style sword at his side.

Flashback:

Back then, Roger once tried to invite Kaido.

"Don't be ridiculous," Kaido sneered. "Rocks is garbage—and you're barely any better. A bunch of trash, mocking each other."

With his horned head held high, Kaido showed no respect for either Rocks or Roger. He had joined the Rocks Pirates not out of loyalty, but because it was a gathering of monsters.

Whitebeard. Golden Lion. Charlotte Linlin. Ochoku...

Kaido had come only to challenge the strong.

This was why, nearly forty years before the original timeline began, he had already touched the peak power of the original Kaido.

In Kaido's eyes, Rocks was a brutal madman who burned, plundered, and destroyed without reason. But Roger wasn't a saint either. The so-called "Great Pirate Era" he would ignite would destroy countless lives.

As for the truth behind the great treasure [ONE PIECE], Kaido didn't care.

To him, Roger looking down on Rocks was just trash mocking trash.

"Yehahaha! Rocks, looks like your brat doesn't respect you much!"Garp sneered from across the battlefield, his laughter echoing between thunderclaps as he traded blows with Rocks D. Xebec.

"Hmph!"Rocks snorted coldly, offering no words—only his fists, as he lunged at Garp once again.

Not far from them, Gol D. Roger stood hesitantly. His attention was torn—should he keep fighting the young beastly pirate in front of him… or join Garp and take down the true threat, Rocks, once and for all?

Meanwhile, Kaido's eyes gleamed as a dark thought echoed in his mind:

"This battle… is perfect. It's exactly what I needed to fully awaken the power of the Dragon Soul."

He had waited a long time for this moment.

Suddenly, a figure landed beside Roger with smooth, confident steps.

A blond man with slicked-back hair, wearing round glasses and wielding a long sword—Silvers Rayleigh, Roger's right hand and trusted deputy.

"Roger, go help Garp take care of Rocks," Rayleigh said coolly, his sword drawn and ready."This dragon brat looks like he's already burned through most of his stamina. I'll hold him off."

Roger grinned, not one for sentiment in the heat of battle."Then I'm counting on you, partner!"

With that, he turned and leapt toward the epic clash between Garp and Rocks, sword in hand.

Rayleigh now stood face-to-face with Kaido. Calm and collected, he raised his blade slightly and gave a small smile.

"Well then, Dragon Boy... I'll be your opponent now."

Kaido bared his teeth in a wide, savage grin. The real fight was only just beginning.
