Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 Colleen Wing

As a normal physiological male, Levis felt his reaction was perfectly fine. How normal for a man to hear a woman talking nearby, then glance over.

It was a woman distributing flyers.

Then Levis looked twice more, confirming she was an Asian female.

She wasn't tall, wore a red jacket over a white T-shirt, her figure wasn't particularly striking, and her appearance wasn't especially beautiful, but she could certainly be called a beauty. She also possessed a unique aura, and perhaps because she was Asian, Levis inexplicably felt a sense of familiarity.

"Hello sir, would you like to take a look at this?" The woman's flyer reached Levis.

Levis smiled, took the flyer, glanced at it, then looked at the woman and asked, "Ke Lin Wen?"

Ke Lin Wen looked at Levis's brilliant smile, momentarily lost in thought.

Well, whether the smile was brilliant or not wasn't important; what was important was Levis's face.

Colleen really wanted to ask: You're so handsome, why aren't you in the entertainment industry?

After all, Ke Lin Wen had only seen men as handsome as Levis among Hollywood stars.

After a moment of distraction, Ke Lin Wen, coming back to her senses, heard Levis's greeting and quickly replied, "Yes, I am Ke Lin Wen!"

What Levis held in his hand was a flyer for a martial arts dojo seeking apprentices, and the dojo owner, it seemed, was the Ke Lin Wen standing before him.

"Is this your dojo?" Levis asked.

"Yes, sir, are you interested?" Colleen looked at Levis with a hint of anticipation.

Levis looked at Ke Lin Wen again; she indeed possessed a special aura.

Then he thought carefully and felt that he really should learn some combat skills. After all, while wings were useful, they had significant limitations, especially for close combat.

"I am indeed very interested, would you mind introducing it in detail?" Levis continued to ask.

"Good!" Colleen's face broke into a surprised smile.

After the introduction, Levis was slightly disappointed. It turned out that what Ke Lin Wenmainly taught was Kendo from the Neon side, and other combat skills were just side businesses, taught casually, not as proficiently.

After a moment of contemplation, meeting Ke Lin Wen's expectant gaze, Levis finally nodded and smiled, "Miss Colleen, do I need to fill out anything to register?"

"No, no, you just need to come in person!" Ke Lin Wen looked very happy, her face beaming with a smile as she said, "Oh, you can just call me Colleen, no need to be so polite!"

"Okay, Colleen, you can call me Neo, Levis." After introducing his name, Levis kindly reminded her, "Colleen, you haven't mentioned how much tuition I should pay yet?"

Ke Lin Wen's face flushed slightly at the remark, and she apologized, "I'm sorry, I forgot. So, Neo, how long do you need to study? I can charge by time, I guarantee it's very affordable!"

Hearing this, Levis smiled. He didn't care whether it was cheap or not; the main thing was to learn something. What's more, with a beautiful teacher providing one-on-one guidance, it wasn't a loss.

"If you're unsure, Neo, you can come with me to see it now." Ke Lin Wen, perhaps fearing Levismight change his mind, struck while the iron was hot and simply took him to see the dojo in person first.

Levis glanced at Danny, finding that fellow still practicing Tai Chi with his eyes closed, seemingly not finishing anytime soon.

And judging by his appearance, he probably wouldn't go looking for Joey today anyway. Since there was nothing else to do later, going with Colleen to take a look was fine.

So Levis greeted Danny and followed Colleen to the dojo.

"Was that your friend just now?" The dojo wasn't far from the park. On the way, Colleen tried to strike up a conversation with Levis, saying, "I saw him practicing some kind of kung fu?"

Levis thought of the Tai Chi Danny was doing and nodded with a smile, "Yes, he's practicing a special kind of kung fu?"

"Then why don't you learn from him?" Ke Lin Wenasked with a smile.

"Perhaps his kung fu isn't suitable for me." Levisshook his head, then looked at Ke Lin Wen and smiled, "But I think yours is more suitable for me!"

Colleen looked at Levis, said nothing, but her face was full of smiles.

Ke Lin Wen's dojo was in an old building. The space wasn't large, probably only enough for seven or eight people, and it seemed to be a combined workspace and living area.

After looking around, Levis casually picked up a wooden sword from the sword rack, weighed it in his hand, and asked, "Colleen, do you have any other students here?"

"Yes, they usually study together here. Today is a day off," Ke Lin Wen explained.

"Where do you think I should start training?" Levisasked with a smile, swinging the wooden sword a few times.

Colleen immediately saw that Levis truly knew nothing. His fancy moves were plentiful, but in reality, it was just a chaotic swing. So she took off her jacket, picked up a wooden sword, and looked at Levis, saying, "Perhaps I need to test you first!"

Seeing Ke Lin Wen ready, Levis swung his sword at her without a word.

The force was fierce, and the momentum was strong.

Colleen easily parried, then swept Levis's sword aside with one strike, commenting, "The power is enough, but the speed isn't fast enough!"

Levis attacked again, Colleen continued to parry, and the sounds of wooden swords clashing echoed endlessly.

About an hour later.

"Alright, stop!" Colleen, panting, called a halt to the match, her face slightly flushed, and looked at Levis with a strange expression, saying, "Neo, your energy is truly abundant!"

"Perhaps because I am male." Levis explained with a smile.

In fact, he hadn't expected to have such astonishing stamina. The intensity of his match with Colleen just now wasn't small, but even now, he didn't feel tired at all.

Levis felt this should be the credit of the Golden Finger, only he hadn't expected such good results after only one level up.

It seemed the Golden Finger was indeed very strong!

Colleen rolled her eyes at Levis, then thought for a moment and said, "Neo, your endurance is very good, and you have great strength, but you don't know how to use a sword, so a lot of your endurance and strength are wasted."

Levis nodded, walked to the side to put away the wooden sword, then took out a clean White towel and handed it to Ke Lin Wen.

"Neo, later I will first teach you how to use a sword." Ke Lin Wen said, her face slightly red as she took the towel, wiping her sweat, and continued, "Your talent is very good. I believe as long as you master the techniques, your strength will improve very quickly!"

"How fast?" Levis looked at Ke Lin Wen and smiled, "Actually, slower is fine too. If it's too fast, I'm afraid I won't grasp it enough."

Colleen's movements paused as she wiped her sweat, her gaze fixed on Levis. Levis also looked at her, and neither of them spoke.

By the time Levis returned home, it was already dark.

Danny sat outside the door, eyes closed, in a meditative posture.

Hearing Levis's approaching footsteps, Dannyopened his eyes and said, "Neo, I saw Ward tonight!"
